- Erland helped alot. There were always some way of contacting him and get help, often very fast.» (Large extent)

- Cremona did"t get the book in time... :(» (I did not by the book)
- Wonder if there are some other literatur that follows the course better. Felt like one had to process to much text to get some answers. And also as far as i could tell the book didn"t say so mush about complexity theory» (Small extent)
- The book was delayed at Cremona and once it was available it felt like I had already learned the information in it I didn"t know before the course started.» (Small extent)
- Bought a cheaper copy of the book that was based on the original. Wheter the original was good or not i don"t know, but the information in the cheaper book was poor and the excersices didn"t help, most because the lack of key (facit).» (Small extent)

- Unfortunately a lot of course literature exceeds reasonable prices, and their prices are not directly related to their usefulness. Sometimes I doubt whether I should by a book or not. Sometimes when I do, like with this, I regret it as it didn"t seem to help me during the course.» (450 SEK)

- The webpage is a bit confusing but all the information is there. I think a more clean design and better headings would make it easier to find. Right now it"s not obvious where the information you are searching for can be found.» (Rather well)

- Erland is one of the few teachers that actually speaks very good english. Thanks to this there where no problems understanding what was going on at the lectures.» (Not at all)
- The only reason the course language matters to me is that it is easier to communicate with people in general if you know the English terms.» (For the better (e.g. since course literature is in English))

- The only problem was the fact that our tutor (Molokov) often applied the same rules as thoose learned by Erland at lectures. I think this is communication problem between tutor and teacher. Ex. Erland said that we would be able to just apply a certain rule without explination, but we got rejection because of doing this. And we felt the tutors didn"t have the same requirements.» (Not at all)
- When this has not been a demand in other courses I sometimes chose to answer in Swedish and found myself wasting time on trying to find translations for terms I only know in English, due to the literature and lectures being in English. Not having a choice prevents that. So, thank you for taking my freedom from me?» (For the better (e.g. since course literature is in English))

- The only times you could get help was during lectures and by going to the teachers room....I would like to see more help with the labs» (Rather poor)

- I had no problems, but i had a group of people i already knew and we worked togheter and helped each other before exam and gave tips on the labs etc.» (Very well)
- missed the opportunity to choose someone to work with and also I learn more by doing the labs myself.» (I did not seek cooperation)

- I took this course earlier than it was meant and reading it in parallel with mathematical modelling proved a challenge.» (High)

- Very interesting subject and it"s nice to focus on the design techniques themselves in a general matter and the importance of being able to formulate a problem as a well-known one.» (Good)

- Overall a very good course wish i felt really gave me knew knowledge that will help me in future. I think Erland is an excellent teacher and should continue this course. The exam felt reasonable.» (Good)

- The course litteratur if there are a better alternative»
- well a little bit to much handwaving for some complexity analysis. Solutions to the excercises would be great»
- As I said, it would be good to get more opportunities to get help with the labs...for example scheduled "lab assignment" times with tutors..»
- Better excersices. Maybe some kind of homework excercise every week would be good. The book didn"t help me mush, it felt it was pretty pointless. I wanted more algorithms to solve under the course to make me more preparred at the exam.»
