- some handouts had no explaining text or very líttle text trying to explain new phenomenons. Just a few lines of text would clarify the contexts of the different handouts!» (useful)
- very different for the different teachers. Some were very good, some were almost useless» (useful)
- There was not a clear, defined pattern. Some handouts were very good, others absolutely awful. Printed Powerpoint-slides without further explanation are NOT useful course material! Therefore I think, the handouts should be standardized.» (not useful)

- YES! I put down a lot of work on my presentation and I really felt that I learned something thouroughly»

- Yes it did. Some people may have more motivations and interest for a presentation as I do. I think its good if you put some points for it like the report. I put alot of time on my presentation because I liked it and less time on the report. I got a 4.0 from report, but nothing for presentation. anyway !»

10. Do you think the report writing added to your learning and is an important aspect of the course?

- Yes, but I did not enjoy the topic this year-GMR-but of course that is highly subjective.»
- No. In my opinion the topic was going too much into basic physics instead of focussing on engineering. Furthermore, it was very hard to find information which was not dealing with the physical effect of GMR but with the material issue.»

- Every session alloted to one specific subject, while I think it was not finished by the end of session and there were still things to talk about... I prefer reduced subjects but deepened insights.» (Adequate)

- I would have liked a more practical approach where the actual applications of tailored materials are more taken into consideration. I think some lectures were going too much into detail on a molecular level, thus neglecting the applications.» (Adequate)

- I dont understand what is my garde in this course I got 5 in exam ,and 4 in report and pressentation ,I dont no what is my garde generally!so it is somewhat uncleare»
