Genomsnitt: 2.61 - Bad articles, and bad guidelines for what to learn from the articles. In some articles, minor details that are hard to find if you do not look explicitly for them (which is hard without guidelines) are emphasized throughout the course, and the most important parts are not emphasized at all.» (Some extent) 3. Genomsnitt: 2.61 - No overview/guidelines that can be used to actually help us know what to learn. Outcomes of the course should be much clearer and detailed, and not the least it should reflect the course.» (Very badly) 5. How well did the written exam reflect literature and lectures?- Fine»- I think the written exam this year was MUCH more complicated than previous years when comparing exams from other yers course pages. The exam was very much in detail and had barley no general questions about the subject. Compare previous years. "What is outsourcing? Which country has been the leading country when it comes to public procurement" this year it was to literature based with unnecessary knowledge. Unfortually i think this will reflect the grade and result on this years exam which is unfair for the students and also bad for the quality of the course if not same knowledge about the subject reflect with the same grade (year after year).» - medium, a couple of questions felt a bit specific on the articles. I had the impression that i´,ve studied on the wrong things for the exam even though i made a summary based on what was on the slides.» - Not very well. I felt that the questions were rather specific (small elements from certain articles for instance) and not generally on what I considered important for the course. » - Rather well» - Not good at all. Too much focus on details that are pretty irrelevant for the big picture of the course. The exam entailed a lot of things that was impossible to predict prior to the exam, and does not reflect the knowledge one has possessed during the course. » - It reflected extensively, covered almost all topics and areas.» - The written exam was way to focused on spesific details in the literature, and failed to provide an overall test on the understanding and reflection of the course.» - Okey, the questions should not have been on such detail-specific knowledge. Put more focus on larger concepts and understanding of major parts in the course for next year. » - Has not been to many lectures but thought it was well conected to the literature. » 6. What is your general impression of the course?13 svarande
Genomsnitt: 3.3 - The contents of the course are very good, and much valuable knowledge can be gained, so I would say that it has the potential to be a very good course. But however, lack of inspiration leads to that the interest is low for the course. It is also very uninspiring when you have no clue on what to learn, what to look for or what you are supposed to know. It is also very disappointing that the exam does not reflect the course at all.» (Poor) 7. Additional comments- The point distribution of the elements of the course needs to be reconsidered. I would suggest a total of 100 points, of which the exam would be 70 and the case 30 or something. As of now everyone got between 12 to 15 points of 15, which I didn"t really see reasonable looking at the different levels of effort put into the reports. Extending to 30 points would allow for a more nuanced grading of the project. »- Like in most other courses I have taken at Chalmers, some of the lecturers struggle with english grammar making it difficult to know what a particular statement is referring to. Asking in class, I feel, would easily be perceived as an act of disrespect towards the lecturer.»
