- The task of the exam that concerned to write a piece of code for a PID controller did not test if we had reached the goals as student. It felt like a bad task and overall on the exam it could be more tasks that actually concerned the new course extent. The reason I feel this way is that this write a code task came out of the blue, we had no exercise like this. So there was no opportunity to actually learn how to do. And if you as examiner think “,but you did some programming in the project”, this is defiantly not enough. Instead of this task there could be more tasks about the new course extent that we actually had seen and recognized from our VERY POOR collection of exercises. And I will also like to say that it was very bad that we didn´,t get a test exam! » (To some extent)

- In the middle of small and some extent! The lectures were not very good. The slides were very boring. Some parts of the course it would be much better to do on the board. » (Some extent)
- The lectures were OK. But the problem solving sessions were useless, in fact.. they were really bad. Mohammed just fast tracked through the problems without doing any real notes on the board or trying to explain problem. It seemed like he expected us to already know these things before coming to the excercise. Further, most of the times he did not even explain the problem we were about to solve before solving it. Mohammad explected us to have the problem descriptions in front of us.. which means that we must ha a computer with us (which weren"t possible for all of us..), since we could not print the book or buy a hard copy of it. The best thing to do for the course would be improve the excercises dramatically!! » (Some extent)

- First of all the book was not very good! It was too detailed and therefore hard to understand what to focus on. The examiner told us to not read more than the level of the lectures. For next year I would like more guidance of the book, like what to read and what to put effort on. We did get some guidance in the end of the course, but we should have had it very much earlier. Like after every week or something. But without the book it would have been much harder to follow the course.» (Large extent)

Genomsnitt: 3.34 - Knut was very good in his field but he had not so much time. Mohammad could never answer one single question that I had without confusing me. Mohammad was available but I always tried to avoid him because he was very cocky and it felt like he was guessing. I always double checked with Knut after.» (Rather poor)

- Did not see the point of the hand in. The help found for projects was very different for the two projects. More material for mathematical model would have made it possible to focus in programming and controlling the system. » (Too high)

Genomsnitt: 3.25 (bidrar till totalt genomsnitt/jämförelseindex) - Not very good impression. Have to work so much harder with this course. The projects were not so good. I think the feedback Knut got on the oral presentation is enough. That he has to figure out how to do with the projects, because right now they are too extensive. Maybe for next year give the students a very good model to work with. And also hand out the lego way much earlier. » (Poor)

- Learn"t alot but some parts (low level parts) where really hard to understand and the exercises where really bad (didn"t learn much on them)» (Good)
- For the project it would have been a better idea that the students were given a control system for the Lego mindstorm projects so that the effort would be more focused on the "Embedded" programming it self rather than the control structure.
Although, it was nice to implement a control system it was very time consuming.» (Good)

- I think the course in the future can be very good. But right now it is too extensive and has to change.»

- Mohammad Reza absolutely the worst teacher assistant ever on my time on Chalmers. Not once he came prepared to the exercises, or maybe he did but it didn’,t felt like it. So very ignorant and respect less against us students. »

- Certain aspect of the project, such as sampling time selection, should get more time in lecture. At times it felt like two different courses were going on at the same time, as the project and the lectures began to become very different. »

- More problems to solve including solutions!! The exercises needs to be improved. »
- Remove the hand in assagnment and make the students use multitasking scheduling in the project instead.»
