- None of the exercises, most of the lectures.» (75%)
- The lectures beacame a bit repetative after a few weeks. Theres really no need to do all the proofs on the black board since they are written down in the lecture notes. What I would like to hear is how one thinks when one produces them, what the goal is and so on. Like the "story around" the proof. » (75%)

- The mandatory exercises were very good. »
- The many applications. Herman"s thoroughness.»
- The lecture notes and the matlab projects. »
- The amazing lectures with Mohammad.»
15. What should definitely be changed to next year?- Nothing special»
- Hermann and the last assignment. The last assignment was timeconsuming without giving a better knowledge in the course. PDEtoolbox is not a very good tool and to solve something hard analytically has been done in the Fourierclass.»
- The course needs an calculations teacher who can focus on the calculations not the theory beacuse othervise the calcualations take too long. The calculations exercises where stuck in the early exercises all period.»
- Why not include more hours specifically for excercises and cut back on lectures, so that excercices are not both presented on lectures and excecice classes. Also organize so that excercies are demonstrated throughout the period better, instead of a lot in the end, and only the first chapters demonstrated by Herman in excercise classes. It gave Little help for self studies throughout the period since few excercises was demonstrated.
Also, why not completely focus on the book written by Mohammad and skip CDE, it includes excercises and Everything and seems to cover the entire course, so why bother with a book that includes so much extra material presented in such a complicated way. It confuses the student to not know what to focus on. »
16. Additional comments- It was a good and fun course»
- The computer assignments were alot harder in comparison to the rest of the course.»
- Interesting course that definately is iseful but also needs improvements. I like both Mohammad and Herman a lot but they can do even better. »
