- The only grudge I have is against the exam: Why weren"t we allowed to have calculators? Are you testing our knowledge on hybrid vehicles, or are you testing how quickly/accurately we can calculate arctan(x) by hand? This, and some other calculations took quite a lot of time which felt slightly ridiculous. » (Yes, definitely)

7. What did you think about the different teachers/lecturers?

Matrisfråga

- Anders Grauers lectures were very good, all topics were well explained. Also good with the general thoughts on the engineering role.»
- A lot of repetition for me in Torbjörns lectures. I missed Jonas lecture. And I don"t remember who the other guys are.»
- Anders pictures could get quite messy (and therefore a bit confusing), but other than that, top mark. »

8. What did you think about the assignments?

- The parts were you should make a driving cycle to test acceleration performance took rather much time and the procedure was not convenient.»
- Interesting assignements but difficult to know how much time that was needed on each. And QSS doesn"t give any help when there"s a problem in the model.»

- High workload at the end of assignment 2. It was good the we were told to start early with the 2nd assignment.» (High)
- Assignment 2 took a lot of effort.» (High)
- I won"t be the first i guess, but assisgnment was defenitely too much work with our experience on QSS and especially simulink. Nothing was well defined and we have so much time to solve some software issues which are not relevant at all for the purpose of this course.» (Too high)

- Its good that course designed in such a way that, for everything we have to search and ask for help to find answer, but the duration of two months is not suitable for it. So atleast few portion of task should be clearly defined like, standard methods to test vehicle Topspeed,Acceleration etc. Because we are loosing lot of time in finding answer to it. So when we start doing actual control logic we are not finding time to complete.» (Adequate)

17. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- Requires Lecture/Document having more detail on vehicle requirement based on different application like Bus, Truck etc., which will be easier to decide on how we design control. Battery lecture should also have how to choose rating of Battery for Motor instead of having electrochemistry of battery. »
- May be, an evaluated response for assignment 1 can be given by the instructors before we start off with assignment 2.»

18. Additional comments

- An intruduction to simulink might be needed early in the course or even before the course is started. »
- Its always said in the lecture "it is not one way to do a control of Hybrid". Ya it is correct, but we should atleast exposed to few methods/Defined procedure(like providing Matlab models for already implemented control logic), so that we can build our own control logic/method efficiently.»
- I think this course was really good and cool. It changes my way of thinking about hybrid vehicles.»
