- On several occasions, one gets stuck without clues on how to proceed. Neither lectures, consultations or litterature gave enough help to proceed forward.» (Adequate)

- The lectures usually taught you very basic things, but the exercises required very in-depth understanding of the topics. This gap was a large problem as the course offered no way to bridge it, no help sessions, no articles, no practice exercises. For me, this usually led to hours and hours of searching online, most of the time with little understanding of what I was even looking for.» (Poor)
- It was at many times a bit too formal and too focused on theory. Personally I require more practical experience to understand something but there was no time for that.» (Adequate)
- Some questions on the exam was a bit ambiguous.» (Good)
- Really like the way Damaschke has his courses. The structure of the assignments/questions and how it really feels like he"s eager to teach.» (Excellent)

- Exercise with feedback and resubmissions was great. »

- The weekly problem examination with unlimited number of resubmissions allowed. The take home exam is also nice, though I must admit I didn"t get much sleep while doing it. I shouldn"t be any longer than 30 hours.»

16. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- The last GLPK assignment. We mostly struggeled with GLPK-syntex which was irritating. »
- I would like to have excercise sessions to get familiar with the topics, or exercises to do by your self with solutions. »
- Possibly one more practical exercise, maybe not necessarily LP.»

- Good course!!»
- It might be good to have some sort of exercise sessions scheduled in the beginning of the course. There are two such sessions in the middle (the glp exercises) where some students who were on their own paired up and started cooperating with each other. I.e. they did not have anyone (except the teachers) to discuss the weekly assignments prior to this!»
