- Theory lectures were good. However, the lecturer has a very monotone, and low, voice which makes it difficult to listen for long. If he could be more dynamic it would be better. Practical part was horrible. Must be replaced for next year"s course.» (Large extent)

- Ping-pong page was rather confusing. Assignment descriptions were in at least two places and their content was different. Plus, why add "Reading Guidelines" to the start page if it does not correlate with reality.» (Rather badly)
- There were problems with information regarding the assignments. We were assumed to realise that important information was given in random non-obvious pdf at the course homepage.» (Rather well)
- Slides were there- Don"t put a course schedule on ping pong if you won"t update it.» (Rather well)

- There was no connection between the teacher of the course and the assignments, so this was performed mostly without any chanche to get help since the lab assistants knowledge was very limited.» (Very poor)
- Lecturer was good at answering questions. However, the TA was bad and could not communicate well in English. I got a bad impression of him...» (Rather good)

- Lectures were very hard to concentrate on sometimes. Why was so much time spent on recaps of previous lectures? We get that it is important, but if you sum up all the time spent on it there could have easily be enough time for another topic.» (Fair)

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- The handins, they were not related to the course.»
- Stronger connection between project and lectures.»
- Assignments organization! Consider adding a workshop about what you can do and what you can not do in OSATE more informative (before starting with the second assignment!), one slide in the end of the workshop is not enough. We spent quite a lot of time on some parts of our design just to figure out later this won"t work with OSATE. Make deadlines more strict and the last one BEFORE the exam week, no one wants to spend their time on assignments instead of studying for exam. There was plenty of time in the beginning of the course, just move the dates one week before. Although all lectures were quite interesting maybe spend less time on requirements and documentation. I think at least 90% of the class have taken Requirements Engineering course and knew almost all content. I would also be interested in more real applications as for example with reliability and queuing networks.»

- The assignments, smaller groups, performing maybee three smaller assignment on a higher level of abstraction which then could be connected to the lectures.»
- The lab should be removed! I suggest there should be seminars were students present and discuss different solutions of some given system. This was a very small part of our assignment, and felt like the most valuable! »

16. Additional comments

- Examination seemed a little bit extensive, maybe next time provide some tips on what quality of answers are you looking for. I started with giving detailed answers but somewhere on the way realized that if I continue that, I would never make it in 4 hours so I had to reduce quality of the following questions which I am not happy with.»
- It was very nice that Chaudron took his time and visited the examination during a long time, so that it was possible to ask questions and such.»
- Give this course more resources! Groups of seven is extreme and not very effective. »
- Let the students discuss and reason about architecture in the practice part. I encourage workshops and discussions instead of spending time in Eclipse/OSATE (which was a waste of precious time).»
