Teaching and course administration

6. What is your impression of the lectures?

- A bit boring »
- Messy powerpoints. The content is very broad and shallow.»
- I attended one, too many equations and reading of power points.»
- They are not bad only a little bit slow.»
- Interesting, easy to understand (relative to the subject of course), but teacher could be more energetic»

- Good but I think Johan could add some more calculation examples.»
- Many of the lectures just gave a brief overview of the subject»

- Well, I was not able to do any exercises because of the home assignments. I learnt a lot but at the same time, it took a while to get them done.»

- I think the exam was too long. I wasnt able to fiinish. Else but that, it was good»

- Last year 30% (6 out of 2) questions were repeated. This time no repetition of previous questions and the pass percentage is 50%!!! Although we have a bonus but how that helped!! Moreover the question was a bit lengthy.»
- Average difficulty, but someone should have much more time to be able to think clearly and solve correctly all of the problems.»

- The way the lectures are structured»
- The assigments could be a little bit soft.»
- Go deeper, and remove some basics (like Maxwell).»
- Johan"s slides were really good but I think he would be able to capture the audience better if he added some more calculation examples. The board does seem a bit old fashion but it does help us students a lot.»
- I would like the course to go into more details on the subjects and not just give a brief overview but then again that"s a general Chalmers problem with its quarters policy»

- The number of the assignments. I believe that you could skip 1 of them to reduce the workload during the term.»

- The HAs was interesting and relevant, but took a large part of the avalilible study time.»
- I really enjoy it and I have learned a lot.»
- kind of "unfair" that it was allowed to bring the book in the exam, although there are not enough copies for every student available at the library. Either take care of that or do an exam where one does not need the book would be better, in my opinion»
- Good course, but time consuming.»
- The course was very interesting and i can say i learned many things out of it. In general everything worked quite well. Johan"s teaching was kinda boring although he always gave good explanations whenever asked.»
