Genomsnitt: 2.4 - The exam was just unfair, because the focus during the teaching was completely changed in the exam. If you put in the consultation 2 examples as very important and then use 2 completely different for the exam, this can be assumed as very sneaky!» (No, not at all)
- 3/5th of the exam did follow the goals, but thought one question had not been covered in the course. Or, the way of thinking of the problem. » (To some extent)
- The exam assessed things that we hadn"t discussed earlier in the coarse- and mainly the coarse is about the projects. Due to the high effort throughout the coarse, it might be better to lower the grades or by passing just by be approved in all exercises. The grades are set too high! » (To some extent)
- a very big part of the exam was about boiling, but we had spent much more time on other subjects. I can"t say that it was unfair since boiling was a part of the course, but the share of points to retrieve from those questions was to big.» (To some extent)

- The literature is a bit hard to learn from. To much that are not explained properly and different names on same things thats makes it confusing. Things are sometimes explained in a way that is understandable when you already know but very hard to use to get there.» (Some extent)

- The part in project 2 with aspen didn"t give you that much, would have been better to go over it better and make it a bigger part of the project. » (Good)
- As always, with matlab, it is time consuming to find faults and to learn what values are reasonable as an output. But I think that they were very good.» (Good)
- The projects take a lot of time, which is fine because you learn a lot. But I don"t understand why the exam is such a big part of grade and examination- you haven"t time the do exercises additional to the projects. » (Excellent)
- I like project based courses since it gives an idea of the real world. Was a bit hard in this course though since it was very much as in the real world where we had to determine all the design values by ourselves. This was hard because we have never done it like that before but I think it was really good.» (Excellent)

- A very nice lab with focus on understanding what was happening. I think it was good to not focus to much on a hand in lab report and use the time for making the students understand what was happening. » (Excellent)

- It was high but the course was so interesting so it wasn"t a problem for me. I took HVAC at the same time and the workload in that course wasn"t to high so it worked out.» (High)
- As stated earlier- projects are very good, but takes a lot of time. The exam on the other hand is the only things that counts of examination, even though we haven"t any calculation exercise. » (Too high)

25. What should definitely be changed to next year?- Project 1 took too long time, maybe more introduction especially regarding gas radiation and how to set up energy balances!»
- Course compendium layout. »
- The boiling question on the exam was really hard because we haven"t seen that kind of equation that we used with the heat flux.»
- The Rya plant was not very good due to we could not hear what he said. It was too much noise. It did feel like just going there to do calculations that we could have done as Chalmers.
It may have ben more interesting if he hade explained more in the konferensroom where we could hear. »
- Take away the rya lab. Sitting at Rya doing calculation were just stupid. Good exercise, but should been done in a better work environment. The guided tour was rubbish, as it was in a too loud atmosphere so could not hear anything. So, pointless.»

- Maybe the heat pump lab is unnecessary.
Q4 in the exam, to much points put into such a question. Maybe not hard but defineatly tricky and uncertain. »
- Maybe be more clear that the projects will be based on industrial regulations and that it is our deal to determine out of these values.»

- At metso- didn"t give much when the guid did not speak that much english, we who spoke swedish could ask question in swedish to understand more. »
26. Additional comments- I liked the course!»
- It think that the focus on the exam was a little shifted compared to what the course was focusing on. We had bacically 3 project designing heat exchangers and there were no calculations on this on the exam. Instead there was one boiling question which we didn"t go that much into during the course, which I think is bad. I think that the questions on the exam should reflect what the focus of the course was, which was not the case for this exam.»
- Please, try to keep the laboratories and study visit and other mandatory events to scheduled time. The block schedule from Chalmers is there for a reason, mainly to be able to combine several courses. »
- Since there is no field under the questions on the labs I will comment them here. The Rya "lab" was more like a study visit followed by a ordinary excersice. But study visits are always interesting. »
- The course itself is ecxellent and so are lecturers and tutors. Just that the worklad is too high. But it is understandable also, since this is a hard course.»
