- The theory part of the lectures was helpful. However the course really need teachers on the programming/designing side in class to help.» (Some extent)

7. To what extent has the labs been of help for your learning?

- You learnt the software but we could easily have had double the workload or more. (I have a SE-background and is used to coding)»
- Labs structured should be re-thought to better involve each participant. They were not the best for group work, except for lab 3.»
- Labs are too vague. Following examples from a book is not very good for learning. Labs could be individual instead.»
- The labs were all done by the programmers which knew what they do. Following the book wasn"t really interesting. It would have been nice to do some very small projects/app and try out stuff or invest more time into the project. The sweden region compare project was nice but took a lot of time to execute. It was hard to do it in one week.»

- The papers are not really that interesting. They all try to find some best practices but in the end, every app is different and should find their own interface solutions. A good IXDler should be able to get it right. More helpful would be to keep the papers to a minimum and try to critique other tabletop apps and find good and bad aspects.» (Rather low)

- Never had any questions on early labs» (Low)
- the tutoring should be in school and more accessible. if not possible it should be more focused on the project time.» (Low)
- Touchtech did a really good job but the dates were really bad. There should have been one in the beginning and then some time till the next one to ask questions for the project.» (Rather high)

- The course needs to improve the structure. However the core is good. the deadlines and guidelines for hand-ins should be clearly defined early in the course.» (Rather badly)

- in the first lecture a guy was presented that would help out during the course, but I only saw him once after that, at the final presentation. Having someone to ask questions (C#/WPF) about the labs and during the project would have been good» (Rather poor)
- Good with the touchtech sessions but I"d (personally) rather wish we had guided sessions with teachers available.» (Rather poor)
- having professionals to advise is good but their time is of course limited. they might be better as guest lecturers than tutors.» (Rather poor)
- Touchtech"s availability was very limited and at the wrong time in the course» (Rather poor)

- good course but need improvement and refinement. It also need a tabletop to be fully accessible from the class and tutoring in place.» (Adequate)
- The opportunity to work on the tabletop was very nice but it depends on the student to learn all the stuff and finish projects in the limited time.» (Good)
