- The theory part of the lectures was helpful. However the course really need teachers on the programming/designing side in class to help.» (Some extent)
7. To what extent has the labs been of help for your learning?Matrisfråga- You learnt the software but we could easily have had double the workload or more. (I have a SE-background and is used to coding)»
- Labs structured should be re-thought to better involve each participant. They were not the best for group work, except for lab 3.»
- Labs are too vague. Following examples from a book is not very good for learning. Labs could be individual instead.»
- The labs were all done by the programmers which knew what they do. Following the book wasn"t really interesting. It would have been nice to do some very small projects/app and try out stuff or invest more time into the project.
The sweden region compare project was nice but took a lot of time to execute. It was hard to do it in one week.»

Genomsnitt: 4.42 - The papers are not really that interesting. They all try to find some best practices but in the end, every app is different and should find their own interface solutions. A good IXDler should be able to get it right. More helpful would be to keep the papers to a minimum and try to critique other tabletop apps and find good and bad aspects.» (Rather low)

Genomsnitt: 2.28 - in the first lecture a guy was presented that would help out during the course, but I only saw him once after that, at the final presentation. Having someone to ask questions (C#/WPF) about the labs and during the project would have been good» (Rather poor)

- The opportunity to work on the tabletop was very nice but it depends on the student to learn all the stuff and finish projects in the limited time.» (Good)

- tutoring and tabletop availability.»
- Time for project should be longer. Look at simulation engines for example where the project is the course basically. Then the help from Touchtech would be much more helpful.»
- Need more time with the pixelsense and also get weekly help with implementation»
- less papers
The introduction to the development wasn"t really useful. Maybe that can be changed. Literature seminars could even be changed so that students give introductions to the programming instead.»
20. Additional comments- I don"t think there should be a tabletop course unless we have full access to a Microsoft Pixelsense or similar device during the course. One hour each week is a complete disaster»
