- The lectures were slow, and it basically repeated what was written in the literature. The lecturer also wanted us to have read the literature beforehand.» (Small extent)

- It is unusual for me to read a subject where there is very little information on the internet. For me it"s easier to learn when there are several sources that says the same thing in different ways. The way (especially the Chi (X)-part) used a document that was the only source of information on the subject made it hard for me to understand. For me it would have been easier with some example code for instance. I really like the way the course litterature was available via pdf:s though. Much easier to read with an ipad than a heavy book.» (Some extent)

- I like the concept. In some of the assignments and exercises it where very hard to grasp what to do though. Since there are so few lectures, it would be good to have a more clear view on what we are supposed to accomplish with the exersices and assignments.» (The balance was just right)

- It is rare that a course spends so much time on making sure everyone understands the finest of details.» (Explanations and discussions in the class helped my learning)

Also sometimes I think the exercises got a bit derailed and maybe 6 people were running the show meanwhile the rest were scratching their heads. - I really liked this. It motivated you to really learn the course material. It also opened for great discussions in the class. - Lower the points needed to pass the course. Offer alternative reading material. And I would have like to have the solutions to the assignments and proper solutions to the exercises (sometimes the same exercise was solve by several people on the white board and it was unclear which was the correct solution).»

- Maybe some arranged discussions about certain subjects. I know this is hard to arrange but it would really have helped me (like SI in the lower grades).»
- More planned tutoring and perhaps written answers to the exercises. Sometimes i left the exercise session not really knowing what our conclusion was. It can be diffusing when faulty solutions are explained.»

- Maybe being a bit more forgiving to the students presenting during exercises when they"ve done some kind of mistake. »

20. Additional comments

- The exam was surprisingly short, though one cannot really complain about that I suppose.»
- I think it"s unfair to force students to complete assignments and exercises to stand a chance in passing the course. If you didn"t do assignments or exercises you would need to score 100/140 points on the exam. Anyway It think I learned a lot doing assignments and exercises so that"s good.»

- Good course overall, a little hard to grasp the concepts but it is a complicated subject. I would have liked a clear explanaition of why primitive recusion was invented and why it is useful. I got this by asking for it but that should really be in the original course. For me as a software engineer bachelor this was hard to understand.»
