- The course material was great, I really apreciated the fact that the professor took the time to write lectures notes in a pedagogic format in addition to well-made slides.» (Great extent)
- Both the slides and notes have been of great use. It is very good that they are available before the lectures. However, when it comes to slides with long derivations on them it is hard to follow on the lectures. In those cases I think the blackboard would have been preferable. » (Great extent)

- Most of my teammates were quite minimalists, and didn"t have a great understanding of the project concepts.» (Rather poorly)
- I think the questionnaire about previous knowledge about the subject before the groups is formed is very good. » (Rather well)

Genomsnitt: 3.43 - I had a bit of stress in december, because I went to a one-week trip in the middle, so I had very little time to finish the project and then study for the exam, but I managed to do it, so the workload is not that big.» (Adequate)

- Great material, experienced lecturer and very pedagogic TA"s» (Excellent)
- The things that we were teached were really important. However I have to comment on the fact that some of the subjects were introduced in the course "Introduction to Communication Engineering". I would suggest that this course should sometimes emphasize on other subjects. The coding subjects were very important and we could have spent more time there. Moreover we could have learned about new techniques that are used now days as multi user access.» (Excellent)

16. What should definitely be changed to next year?- Project Simulations take a long time»
- Add a quick presentation on how optimize code in MATLAB in order to make the project calculation not that long.»
- The project, unfortunately the run-time was too long, I didn"t like the way the evaluation was made in the oral examinations. My grade didn"t reflect all the work made, and in my case, the group was not very well balanced (only two of us did the work) however, everyone got the same grade +- in the oral examinations...»

- The focus on the viterbi. The focus shouldnt be on implementing an efficient matlab code but to understand the concepts.»
- Project could be changed so that the matlab implementation could be done as a proof of concept but for the simulations, the much faster built in functions could be used. Some more questions and focus on the theoretical part not the matlab implementation»
- More tutorials questions or exercises should be provided or more past year papers etc.»
- The project should be rearranged. It does not have a clear guidance and it causes lot of confusion.»
- I think the projects needs a slight remake since the running of simulations (or improvement of code) took to much time. »
- The project! It takes WAY too long time to do the simulations. Consider to change the project into two parts, part one with the implementation of our own algorithm to show understanding of the algorithm, and part two with the matlab one and the questions that we were asked in this project. This way the simulation time will not be that huge. This is NOT a matlab optimization course!»

- Generally, i think this course is structured well. Although i am an exchange student in bachelor degree, i can still catch up with other students with the help of clear lecture notes and project work. I think project work is really helpful for me to learn this course well.»

- As stated before, I believe that as communication engineers, we must learn some important subjects of our area. Unfortunately in general the MPCOM programme skips important topics, something that could have been fixed starting by DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS, were we should have been teached more up to date topics.»

- I would have been interested in knowing how efficient my Viterbi Algorithm was, and how to improve it, but I can understand that it would be far to much work for the assistant to go through all the code of every group.»
