- there has once been confusion with the lecture halls. The room was only updatet on timeedit, but not on the sysbio web page.» (Rather well)
- Sometimes the handouts wasn"t on the webpage before class. If this happens, it would be nice to be given a handout from the lecturer.» (Rather well)

Lectures7. How good were the lectures by the different teachers?Intawat had the following lectures: Introduction, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and integrated data analysis.
Sergio Bordel Velasco had lectures about metabolism, metabolic modeling, dynamic modeling, regulation and Metabolic control analysis.
Tobias Österlund supervised the computer exercises. Matrisfråga - Intawat as well as Sergios english was very difficult to follow.»
- The lectures felt a bit unorganized. It was difficult to get a grip on what was important. The lectures with PowerPoint could have been more deep into the important parts of the course instead of (like it was sometimes) just skipping from slide to slide and only saying a couple of words on each slide.
The lectures given be Sergio that was on Black Board was intresting but could have been more organized. Eg. To write headlines and tell us what we actually was looking at.. And also to write from top to bottom and then switch board instead of writing "here and there".

- Some pronunciations of Sergio was hard to understand. Also some of the concepts were handled very fast by him.»
- Sergio has to learn how to write on the board and be more structured in general! Tobias were great! Explained slowly so that everybody understood and took it from the begining.»
- It was very hard to follow Sergios lectures. When he wrote on the blackboard there was equations everywhere. Not a singel heading or words at all and no logical order. It was also hard to hear what he said and he just could not explain things so you understood it. »
- Intawat and sergio should improve their english skills. But I think they have a really good knowledge about their topics. Intawat should talk about all slides e presents and shouldn"t skip so many of them. If he thinks the slides are not usefull, they shouldn"t be presented. Less slides is often much better.»
- Sergio needs a course in teaching, it was very difficult to understand his lectures. Demonstrations om the black board were all over the place and there was no clear theme in the lectures.
Tobias was just wonderful, very good demonstrations during computer exersizes and very good at explaining, although he only had a small fraction of the course he was a tremendous help! »
- It was hard to follow the metabolism lectures. Tobias Österlund was excellent, but there were to many students for him to be able to give enough time to everybody. »
- Sergio"s accent was tough to follow at times.. But all of them taught very well.. Especially Tobias was the best I feel..»

- In the beginning too much was explain so didnt think that much for our selves...but I didn´,t understand that much from the lectures that were connected to the excercises so the excercises helped to understand!» (Rather good)

Genomsnitt: 2.96 - The subject is good but the course felt very disorganized. I didn´,t really understand what you were talking about (exept the cell biology that was too simple since I´,ve studied biotechnology)and when doing calculations no good explanations were given. Only how to solve an equation was explained and that we know quite well already. More explanation of the choice of exations! » (Poor)

- If the exam is going to include calculations, i think that there should be excersies also in calculations and teaching in that.»

- concerning intawat: He should present the content of the slides in a much deeper way, or leave the slides out. This is confusing and doesn"t support the overview of the lecture.»

- even if i have done the exam I am not capable to explain what the course was about. The lectures were very messed up and I never understood what we should learn. I think the subject could be interesting and it is a pity that the course is so unorganised. I don"t want to speak bad about someone in particular but I think Sergio should know that he has to be more pedagogic and organised when he uses the blackboard because it was really hard to follow him and understand what he wanted to communicate.»
