Genomsnitt: 2.21 - The goals for examination has been a very week part of the course. It took 2 or 3 weeks before we got information presented about what moments was needed (more concrete) to pass the course. The course involves algorithms for image construction but we use a 19 years old book and there has been no small tasks to solve during the course, either in the book or handed out from course leaders (only 1 task was handed out first week). While the course is new there has been no old exams to look at and there has been no example examination presented. The combination of all this makes it very difficult to study to the exam. The information about the projects has also been weak. In a project in a course it is important to know what limitations there is. For example how many pages it should be. The answer "It depends on ambitions" is not a good answer in a course. We have got 5 questions to answer and it is possible to answer them on 1 page but also in 15.

What is your opinion about the laboratory assignment?- The laboratory assignment was good»- It gave no understanding. It did not seem to have a specific goal.» - that was satisfied lad» - Good» - It was good but the supervisor didn´,t seemed well prepared. Poor intructions to what the report was expected to contain.» - Not very good. Didn"t learn much» - Ok a bit to easy» - Good, but could be more specified. » - quite good» - somewhat confused instructions. Apart from that it was good. » - It wasnt so great, diagnostic imaging wasnt that appreciatted » - It was good, I liked it but I would have enjoyed a bit more If I knew a bit how the matlab script worked, or maybe make or modify a simpler one» - Taken off a checklist of things that just have to be in every fashionable course» - Really wanted some more information before it» - Good, writing the report with some others was nice :)» 10. What is your opinion about the project assignment?- The project work is ok, but I don"t like that we have presentation two days before the exam. I think it is enough with a project report.»- Good project subjects. Also good that the students were given a project so that all projects could be represented for the presentations.» - fairly good» - Very hard, but good. Seems like it is a bad idea to do a project on stuff we already heard in class» - It was quite unclear what the examinor expected to be a part of the project and to which extent.» - Good idea to let the students themselves decide how large the project should be etc. » - The project assignment was only a research of the material already taken, this project didnt give any rewarding experience in imaging diagnostic» - Was good.» - likewise, duplicating lecture content did however make it feel even more futile» - It is a good help for the exam and a good way of learning» - I would have wanted to choose the topic myself, because all the subjects were not equally easy/difficult! Otherwise I think you learn much more by writing projects than by reading for the exam... So I would suggest that the grade would come directly from the project and maybe from mid-term exam as well. The work load would be enough also without a final exam!» - Really defective! Project works were on major subjects and imaging modalities. We students worked a lot on our projects. teacher wanted us to answer to all major questions about the modalities but at the same time wanted us to present our works in just 9 minutes! It was not respectful to students. They scheduled to listen to all presentations in just 2 hours! Lunch time were more important for them maybe!!» 11. What is your opinion about the mid-term exam?- The questions are not fair. I don"t think that the questions are showing what you know. Some questions were formulated in a way just to trick the students. »- Awful questions that tested no understanding at all. Grading on a scale gives the impression that there is no clear goal of the course and no ambition of the examiner» - not good for me at least, because the time was limited and i was sttressful to answer questions,i studied a lot for mid term but result was not fair for me, because i was not familiar with this kind of exams before.i hope final exam will be better for me» - hard» - very good» - ok except that many questions seemed to be questions to trick the student, they were very detailed and long and only some minor detail was incorrect and that is almost impossible to figure out.» - Good» - good, nice to see how much one ought to know» - It was ok!» - very good.» - Was quite strange format not that good » - Confusing, I did not help to know how was the exam, but it helped to see that we needed to go a bit further with the studying» - True» - Nice to get some knowledge of the exam question» - Quite difficult, but the grade limits were fortunately also low. » - It was unwise. 100 hundred questions in just one hour! seems more than too much for such a technical course, isn"t it?! » Study climate12. It is not even explained good.»- More clear goals and they should be presented the first day and it should be possible to read them on the home page. » - Hand in reports, groupwork, skip the exam or give an extra exam for those who want to have a higher grade» - This course should be elective, not compulsory. Of no need at all for my track.» - the lab» - project work» - Better specification of what the different parts contain and what is expected. » - too many bad lectures» - the type of examination, more practical questions instead of memory questions, the project should be made in groups » - Well the notes given were not clear, the book its too extense, it did not help to study the exam a lot and it did not explain many things» - Abolish or change the projects so they span material not included in the rest of the course» - All the mathparts that the teachers couldnt explain» - The material should be more clear and possible to read even if you have other lectures at the same time! No minus points if you answer wrong in the final exam!» 19. Additional comments- The goal fore the course must be clearer»- The course has possibilities to be really good while but it need much more structure.» - The exam was very hard and to detailed. The part with the yes or no-questions was tricky and bad stated. To many questions in total. And it was very bad that we didn´,t got the grade limits at the exam, even though we asked for it. » - none» - You could have said more clearly what kind of assignments to expect for the final exam... Not everyone knew that it"s not similar kind of exam than the mid-term exam... And because old exams naturally not were available, it was not easy to know what is important and what is not.» - I hold the course staff in high regard and I respect them sincerely But I see their work in this course to be somewhat naive.»
