- The course needs to emphasize more on describing the relations between trends/measures and its impact on water services and why the subject is so interdisciplinary.Unfortunately the multy-disciplinaryness is something that some engineering students are reluctant to or write of as "airy-fairy".» (60-80%)

- The lectures was very different and sometimes too different so it was hard to understand what were the learning outcomes» (Small extent)
- I found the paper trend lecture and other reports more rewarding than the lectures» (Small extent)
- The lectures were incoherent and didn"t seem coordinated among the different lecturers. For example, the hydrologic cycle was brouht up about 10 times.» (Small extent)

- BUT must of it was "old knowledge" or repetition so to say. And most of the lecturers spoke about the same thing, even using the same tables and similar. So it was very repetitive ...» (Large extent)

- We still don"t have the grade for the individual report and we were supposed to get some opposition before handing in our final report, which we didn"t get !» (Very poor)
- Could not even find my supervisor then I was looking for him. His name was not at the door. And it did not seem that he had time for us. He read our report (first draft) but his comments did not help. I have heard that other supervisors tried to help their groups more and wanted the projet to be good, told them what they should focus on etc.» (Very poor)

- Excercises in lecture rooms with big groups is not very effective in order to show how different techniques are used.. » (Rather badly)

- It is hard to find a computer, and it is hard to consentrate when the ventilation is bad in the lecture halls» (Some extent)
- I felt the libraries access to online journals was limited and difficult to access» (Some extent)
- BUT hard to find computers sometimes! All are already taken! But now there is a new computer room so maybe it will be better in the future.» (Large extent)

- my other module had a very high workload so I could not give as much time as I would have liked to this subject» (20-40%)
- It has taken very much time, first the individual writning n the assignment which I worked a lot with, then the group project which took much time for meet each other and work together, as well as writing on your own at home. Much time spent on this course, too much maybe, but still I liked to work with the project, it was a nice task which made you learn. And since our supervisor was very good, I feel that I got some new points of view on report-writing.» (60-80%)
- The project should be graded and count for some points of the course since it took alot of time!» (60-80%)
- This course took up almost all available time after week 2-3. The workload is too high, it would have given the same amount of understanding to write a 5 page report+1-2 pages discussion instead of 10 pages+2. This way it became much of just filling up the space. Would rather have had more time for the group project, start it earlier. » (60-80%)

- This course made me doubt if I had chosen the correct masters program. The first assignment was basically to summarize the first ten or so lectures which really didn"t give much. The second assignment was like writing an essay in 8th grade about a city, but with correct references. I can only imagine what students that came from abroad thought about this programme when this is one of the first courses they have. Awful!» (Poor)

- It ws nice to have other examination types than an ordinary exam with a group project and an induvidual assignment. »
- Don"t tell the student that if you do a good report you will easily pass the exam, I didn"t think so, maybe the exam should relate a bit more to report..»
- I think that it was very good that you scheduled time for the groupwork, otherwise it is very hard to get everyone together.»

14. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- Try to have the presentations later, since they are graded it would be nice to have almost completed the report before doing a presentation. »

- The presentation occasion was hard ... a whole day listening to presentations is not easy. Maybe there is no other way to do it. And also, I"ve understood that some of the supervisors have not been as encouraging and involved as our was. »

- The aim of this course is not so clear, and the topics of different lectures seem not so coherent. I think before taking the lectures, the teachers should adress what is the major topics of the specific lecture and the meaning of it.»
- The group project was done over a too short period. It is unfair that a project that is so rushed makes up a big part of the grade. The group project should have started earlier. More information should have been given on the individual assignment earlier to encourage students to start writing it earlier.»

- The strict amount of pages required to write in order to pass the course. It should be more quality dependent than quantity dependent»

- the amount of time allocated to the assignments, the group report felt rushed while there was ample time for the individual report. it would have been good to get the opposition to the group report back and time allowed to make suggested changes»

- Information earlier about the indivd assigment. Finish the individual before the groupwork starts. Some finish the individual early and then they were not able to work with the groupproject since the other in the group have not even started with wheirs. More even groups when it comes to non swedish students, some groups had non some hade 3 which caused discissions since they are not used to write references as Chalmers want them to. Teatchers has to talk to each other so it wont be 5 lecturs about the same thing, then it will be hard to write the individual.»

- This course should not be mandatory since for the ones that chose this program for the geotechnics it is completely useless. It would be better to have general courses like risk assessment and modeling in the beginning and then let students choose the direction of their education instead of wasting their time like this.»
