Genomsnitt: 2.2 - One of this course"s main focuses is error analysis, but we haven"t studied error analysis at all (we have studied statistics but it is not the same thing). As a matter of fact we are still struggling with the error analysis since one of our reports was rejected! Also, our knowledge of solid state physics was inadequate to comprehend one of the labs which we did. » (No, the goals are set too high)

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?- Maybe remove the ethics paper...»
- Either lower the standards for the error analysis or provide us with more material on the subject. There was some material on the course"s web page but it wasn"t nearly enough. Just a few hours ago me and my group had to go and ask the supervisor of one of our labs how we should handle the error analysis in the report which was rejected!»
- A bit less workload would be good. For example don"t recommend to take data for the fifth time and/or the fifth sample if it is not really necessary.»
