- It was very good in some parts of the course, especially the lecture-series part. In the lab-part it was dependant on who you asked.» (Rather good)

- A adequate grade because of the labs.» (Adequate)
- The lecture series was very interesting and the lab series was very interesting as well. It was nice to construct something a bit more complex in VHDL.» (Excellent)

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- Everything that was not VHDL, remove those parts.»
- New equipment for labs!»
- The gear in the lab wasn"t very good. There wasn"t enough multimeters and the oscilloscopes were badly equipped with probes and such. This is a small remark though.»
- Start with labs earlier. Maybe combine the first two into one. »

16. Additional comments

- The first lab is essential. If possible it would be better to give the student more time to spend on it. If you never used VHDL it is difficult to finish in time before the second lab. Very good course by the way and Lars is great!»
- The lectures handled by Lars was really good and impressing and the lab-handling by one of the tutors was really good. But the labs was in some extent embarrassing! For the last lab we had to measure a signal using a oscilloscope and multimeter, firstly, they where to few oscilloscopes and multimeters, and probes to connect the circuit! We"re talking about 3-4 of them for a labb-group of 10-20 people. Some of the probes/cables didn"t work, is it that expensive to buy? The multimeters was the cheaper ones(the ones you can buy in a market for 100-200SEK)? And there was 3-4 of them for the whole class to share? The lectures and labs hold a high standard, but the equipment was embarrasing.»
