- I skipped on some exercises, since I didn"t seem to gain anything from them. I think the tempo in them has to increase. And also it was actually rather hard to see what was written on the board.» (75%)

- The examination only covers a small part of what we should understand, since there are only 6 problems. » (To some extent)
- We needed some mathematical formulas to resolve most of the tasks. The problem is that they weren"t part of the course and we weren"t told that we needed any. M. Albin comes from the math department, so he thinks that we are supposed to know theses formulas by heart, but we are learning to be engineers (in communications), so knowing by heart theses formulas, which we can easily find on books or internet, isn"t the goal of the course/formation.» (To some extent)
- I think the excam was a little different then the excercises but it rewarded understanding which is good.» (To some extent)

- I wonder why the course web page can"t be in the student portal? I think it would be a good idea if both lecturers had access to post material on the web page. For example the lecture slides from Lennarts lectures.» (Rather well)

- I got a little shock when viewing my first exam though, there is quite a lot of "tricks" needed for an exam that is supposed to test understanding. However, the studies leading up to the exam was a good exercise in relearning all of these tricks.» (Adequate)

- I would say that this course along with the "Introduction to Communication Engineering" was the two most interlinked courses I have ever had on Chalmers. What we learned in one course could be directly utilized in the other. Thumbs up!» (Good)

- Lennarts part was very good, but the part about Wiener filtering could have been longer. It was kind of hard to grasp in the short amount of time in the end.»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- matlab introduction»
- The website is not user-friendly.»
- Nothing. Probably the number of problems in the examination should be increased in order to have a better measurement of what we learned. »
- The laborations. Two laborations withouto a lot of guidance is a lot, as there are more projects and assigments from other courses. Moreover, the last laboration had to be delivered one week before the exam, so much time was spent for the laboration and not studying for the exam.»
- Please don"t begin with the very,very basics!»
- On the exam there were an issue that some people had brought calculators. Of course I think that using forbidden aids is cheating, but I am not a bit surprised that people didn"t know. When I entered the exam I thought we were allowed to bring them, but I saw on the blackboard that it wasn"t written down as an aid so I put mine away and alerted some 5 other people that also had brought them. I think Patrik really has to stress what isn"t allowed on the exam, especially for the abroad students. I"ve noticed that some of them has rather bad english so repeating the rules over and over might be the solution. »
- Maybe you should also provide the answers for the home exercises, because it happens that we can"t attend the lesson or that the explanations during the lesson are not good enough or messy.»
- Some description in the laboratory project is not very clear. So it"s better to make it clearer. »
- Try to have maybe one or two sessions prior to the laborations deadline in a computer room where the students can show and ask about their matlab code issues.»
- Some easier excercises to begin with. Most of them was though to begin with when you try to solve somthing you havn"t done before. Some additional lectures maybe»

- Maybe, a little to much guidance (every step) in the last Laboratory Project was given. I think maybe we would understand the topics a little better if we had to figure some stuff out ourselves.»
