- The pace at lectures has been very low, making it feel like a waste of time to attend full lectures. Perhaps not all questions need to be answered if the majority of the class still follows?» (25%)

- Dont think the exam was about what we talked about on the lecture. The questions were not clear and they want to have long explenations for every answer, I dont think that is good.» (To some extent)

- the teacher didnt explain in a good way. i read from the book and understood some stuff in the exercise sessions. Teaching assistant Ali was very good and explained very well. the other teaching assistant was not good and also had the same problem as the teacher , he could not explain stuff though he tried his best. he just solved the exercises.» (Small extent)

- Better in some ways but also worse. It was a bit irritating when the lecturer asked if everybody had understood and waited for a long time for the answer. Sure it"s good to ask sometimes but I think it"s better to just continue, and if there are parts that are unclear it"s the students responsibility to ask.»
- The teacher"s explanations became clearer as so did the material in the slides. Also, the new order for the teaching material in each lecture session helped to understand the basics of the course.»

- Mid quarter exam should not be too difficult.»
- Increase the lecture tempo a bit, try to use metaphores for for example entropy and the diffrent dimensions in vector quantization. Compare with "intro to digicom"-course and the "stocastic process"- course.»
- Perhaps the projects could be counted into the final grade in some way, since so much time is spent working with the them.»
