- Bengt could probably be the best teacher at Chalmers, tied with Jana Madjarova(?) at the math department. It was a joy attending his lectures because you always knew you would learn a lot and that he will answer all questions beautifully.» (100%)

I still barely understand how/when knowledge of this subject would benefit me as an engineer. Not enough practical examples have been given, instead the focus was on very detailed (and sometimes painfully slow and dull) theory without discussion of application or context.» (Fair)

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?- Not present new material on the lectures so close to the exam.»

- The mathematical proofs seem unnecessary. Could be shortened or even taken away.
It is important how to apply the knowledge, not to proof the background - that has already be done by others.»
- There originally was a lab component, but that was removed. I believe that that lab component, and actual hands-on PLC programming, would have made the course MUCH better.»
- The final two assignments were a complete waste of time, especially the third one. The oral exam was a joke, and completely unnecessary considering how close it was to the final exam. »
