- The companion is a complete mess and is of no help. I bought another book on ship stability to understand better. Also the powerpoint online put by Ronnie Hanzen are just as messy. Not only is the english language on the slides questionable but also even the mathematical formulas are wrong (missing parts of it, missing coefficients, etc). Very frustrating but I have ot admit it forced me to look up more information and I learnt a great deal just by trying to correct those mistakes.» (Some extent)

Genomsnitt: 3.12 - The Homepage is not good. The book which was recommended to buy for 225 Kronor was not used what is a waste of money. In the presentation of Ronnie Hanzon are some mistakes and he is still using his old-fashioned foils in the lesson and always searching for the right one. » (Rather badly)

- The design-task is very good! Jans lecture was good and the tutorials was useful! Ronnie is a bit hard to follow during lecture.»
17. What should definitely be changed to next year?- Merging tutorials with theory lessons would be a good idea. Also, find a new companion, more complete, better quality and clearer. »

18. Additional comments- The thing is that this class is for most of us the first class we ever have in a naval topic. Everything is new to us (ship stability, etc) so this class has not only a purpose to teach us the basics of ship geometry, stability, hydrostatic but also - i believe - to teach us basic ship/naval knowledge. It is then important to have a clear companion, adequate pace, clear teachers to guide us thru this first interaction with naval architecture. The first impression is always the most important. So let"s make this class more attractive and clearer by having a better book and better powerpoint slides maybe as well include in the lesson real life examples with pictures, videos on how are performed different task in the real engineering world (for example: showing in video or photos how an inclining experiment is performed and how the calculations are completed, etc)»
