- The exam was way too long, there isn"t even close yo be enoight time to write it. You actually hav to produce 1 page every 15 minutes to answer all the questions required!»
- I"m not studying the AE programme. I feel that it"s not fair to answer the "significance for my education"-question.»
- This relates to our program in every aspect. If all our teachers were as good as Phil in administration and awareness, from learning outcomes to the course pm to the commitment, we would have the best program at Chalmers.»

- I thought the course was really interesting and I learned alot. One minus is that I felt I couldn"t show everything I"ve learned in a good way. For example, the exam was to short to have the chance to write down everything you wanted to answer to a question.»

3. What elements of the course should definitely remain?

- Phil Thomas!»
- The two existing presentations and the estimating/tendering-exercise.»
- The first assignment, about a companys financial situation was good, it should remain.»

- The presentations we did. By doing them we got a higher understanding for the cours. Sometimes presentations are not connected with the learning outcomes but this was.»

- The exam should remain. It force you to go further into questions and helps you learn more about the subject. »

4. Were there any elements missing in the course?

- Not what I feel afterwards»
- I felt that the course had a few to many lectures, I would have preferred more lessons where we worked on our own with some exercises. »

- A comparasion of good financial reports from companies vs bad ones, in the beginning of the course.»
- I wish that we had the opportunity to calculate and give our own bid. This could be a task that we could do in class, but it would give us a better understanding of how you build up your proposal.»

5. What, if anything, do you think should be changed in the course?

- I think that the excersises and the case study should be done toghether in the group instead of just runned through briefly in class.»
- Maybe the time-limit of the examintion. 4 hours were pretty tight. Maybe change to 5h?»
- Perhaps the third assignment, about the feeder station, could become a group exercise? »

- It was to little time for the exam. Next time maybe 3 questions need to be answers or more time. Because you want us to write so many pages something need to change.»
- Could be good to actually do one or two of the excersises and not just go through them in a hurry during a lecture. »
- The examination needs more time, many students felt they had more knowledge then they had time to write it down.»
- Concerning the exam, it felt like you didn"t have the time to write down all you knew about the subject. Since the exam is of that big part of the final grade it would have been nice to show your personal skills in some other way. One idea could be that you sit in small group sessions where you for example can discuss advantages and disadvantages of various payment systems, different risks etc. »

- Great, great course. Phil is excellent! One of the best courses on AE so far, for sure!»
- The exam could have been 5 hours instead of 4. It was a little bit short of time.»
- A very good course. A teacher who cared about the students and did everything so we could learn. Was very easy to get answers from you by mail or making an appointment to see you. Thank you for having us! »

- I think that there should be time for doing the teamwork exercises either in class or outside "lecture time", for the students to have a chance to try to make it out themselves before the exercises are examined.»
