- Exam assignments assessed only part of the course material. It was also not about the extent of knowledge, but about stating the most important in limited amount of words. » (To some extent)
- The gradings on the examination reports were unclear. It was hard to understand what the teachers wanted. » (To some extent)
- The grading of the examination reports was unfair. In my groups we wrote whole sentences and got negative feedback as we did not touch upon on all aspects. But then, there were others groups that used bullet points instead of whole sentences and even slighly more words than the allowed which finally got better grades. In mean, what"s the point in that? This is not in line with the demand to focus.» (To some extent)

- the handins opened late. i would have preferred a compendium with the articles (to look up every article was only time consuming! i found almost all articles by googling them)» (Rather badly)

- There was little interaction between the locals and the erasmus students. It would have been useful to mix the groups, especially for the case studies.» (Rather well)
- The grouping should be assigned by the teacher randomly, instead of Swedish students only want to group with swedish to keep their "advantages" as local people, but turn out to be their result of work is not as good as they think. And they complain about other group the opposition report made for their report is "too hard", which is not at all. » (Rather well)

- Not all guest lectures were as interesting and relevant as others. » (Fair)
- If feels like I could have had the same learning outcome in less time by reading a book on my own.» (Fair)
- Quite vague on certain aspects of the course. Not much detail as lectures commonly one to two hours per topic.» (Adequate)

- The examination reports. Learned a lot and nice to have other examination forms than "regular exam". Keep the maximum amount of words for these assignments, think its part of the assignment to not exceed this and at the same time manage to cover the importants parts.»

16. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- For each examination report the teacher should grade the students before assigning the next report. Furthermore many of the reading material which has to be used for the reports are in no means conected to the report questions. »

- Could introduce some technical aspects and calculations. E.g. if something is said to be more expensive, then how much, if congestion wastes time, then how much, etc.»
- The case study could be in more dpeth, whilst the topics covered via examination reports could be examined at the end of the study period instead of the reports, as the reports required little work and were very easy.»
- The final deadline of the case study report should be before the final presetation, for preventing the idea copying from other groups.»

- The case study, didn"t learn that much. It would have been nice with some feedback on the hand-in. Think maybe that the first hand in for the case study could have been one week earlier (and also move the other hand-ins a week, understand that the lectures are connected to the theme of the examination reports but still) so examination report 3 and opposition/oral presentation is not in the same week in the end. I would rather have two or three more examination reports instead of a Case study, alternative make two examination report of it instead some how.»

- It was a bit ill-conceived to have the same case study project for all students. Thus, the presentations resulted in many similar outcomes which I found was not really inspiring.»

- Overall badly structured course and the teachers grading very unfair »
- The learning outcome of the case study is a bit fuzzy for me. I can only think of:"Making students think about transport in systematic way".»
- The political standpoint of the lecturers should be kept neutral, instead of strong negative and criticized emotions or judgements against some developing or undeveloped countries in the enviroment fields, like China, North Korea, etc. »
- In general terms, it was a very well executed course. Excellent!»

- Understand that its a lot to read through (correct) with the examination reports but maybe its possible to get help from PhD students to minimize the workload. And do it possible to get the correction back of the first and second examination reports before deadline for examination report 3. It was a bit of problems to find a new partner for each of the examination reports. Agree that you shouldn"t work with same person in case study and home exam and that you should be able to work with different persons. But when you are taking different courses the time suited for team work have not always been easy to find when you at the sametime should find time to work with the case study with your other team members. Maybe its possible to work with same person in the home examination reports?»
- I still can not understand why this course of semi-compulsory in MPSES. It is very specific and should be more offered as an elective.»
