Genomsnitt: 2.91 - Most teachers had PP slides ranging up to 70 pages, which meant that there was a lot of content. The scope was often very broad and many general models were introduced. The shallowness of the subjects makes it hard to actually benefit from a physical teacher, especially since the sessions were so long resulting in lack of focus towards the end.» (Small extent)

- Not all papers were avaliable online, neither was information about papers. One example was the paper about the AIM method which proved to be very valuable for the final exam.
Many papers were printed, partly as a kind gesture from the teacher but also in part due to copyright. For the sake of environment, and their own ergonomic safety, perhaps the teacher should not print what can be avaliable online.» (Rather well)

7. What is your overall impression of the weekly course?Matrisfråga- I would have liked more social activities in the beginning. Activities that forced us to split up in different groups would have been nice. When I got to the bowling hall I arrived with my friends so I ended up playing with them instead of making new friends...»
- En röd tråd skulle uppskattas. Kanske samma case ur olika perspektiv. Att vi inte får det riktiga Zara caset under OS veckan är mycket synd. Det hade höjt kvaliten under den vecakn.»
- Many topics and very unclear what was the real learning objectives. The marathon sessions were quite difficult to. Generally, the scheduling could have been much smoother for the students. Some days you had to go to Chalmers just for 45minuted of lecturing. And some weeks contained more than one of these days.»
- The first week was very unneccessary. The guest lecturers didnt contribute much to the course.»

- The sequence was fine.
But why is there no week of lean? Could replace SOM for instance. Lecturers spoke of lean as if everyone knew what it was, with their own view of lean probably stemming from their own fields vantage point. It would be really nice to have a week of lean by someone like Torbjörn!
It feels more urgent than many other areas since we as Quality and Operations Management master students are expected to know a lot about lean but there is a general lack of lean tutoring!»

11. What should definitely be changed to next year?- Högre krav på inlämnade uppgifter och deltagande på seminarium. Allt för många är oförbredda och det borde inte vara accepterat på denna nivån»

- Don"t have cases every week. The level of suggestion and though behind case solutions felt poor, and it is not fun to present work that one cannot feel proud of. It sets the standard to low in my honest opinion, the discrepancy between the level of an average I-case during the bachelor and the weekly cases is just too big.»

12. Additional comments- Synd att betyget endast avgörs av tentan. Tycker att det också finns en poäng med att visa att masternivå är betydligt mer krävande än tidigare.»
- The exam question of week 3 (Operations Strategy) felt completly off in terms of what we read about in the literature and what was said during the lectures.
It was one of the most unanticipated exam questions during my three years at Chalmers. If this was a SLO it would be nice to discuss it during the lectures.»
- I have three issues about the course to raise. First of all, the groups. No offense to the other students who might come from a different background, but there are many who havent written any or very few cases and thus dont really know how. This made this study period quite though for the students who do know how since they need to do almost all the work and also "teach" the others. I felt this way at least during this period. Moreover, while in this course the cases were just pass/fail, I am quite worried about the upcoming study period where they are properly graded.
Secondly, I cant really see the point with the course at this time. I personally would prefer to have two good other courses in the beginning, such as the change management course which is recommended next year. As the program is at the moment, there are really 4 courses, a master"s thesis and an industrial project (plus elective courses). That"s almost just 1 year of studies! Furthermore, I dont think it contributes that much to the knowledge that we have/should get within the subject, that it is necessary to take the other courses or that you cant fit the small ammount of information (really 1 lecture per course) in the regular courses.
Finally, the first week was in my mind completely irrelevant, get on with the studies straight away!
While I may have had some issues with the course (it is the first time, Ive taken time to write this extensively about one, but it is really only because I want to help improve the program), I must say that the teachers have been really good and I have enjoyed the litterature seminiars.»
- I found it strange that question 1.b in the exam showed up in the exam since Anders Hellström distinctly pointed out that the eight dimesnions would NOT be relevant for the exam.»
