- It felet like tek280 but not as much Practice» (Negative)
- Too much fluff. No clear goals with each lecture and too little "hard" knowledge. Reflection is good but should be around bullet points and new perspectives in my opinion. The articles was good in this sense but the lectures not. And not the term paper.» (Negative)
Goals and Goal FulfillmentThe course PM states the course goals in terms of learning outcomes, i.e. knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be acquired by the students during the course. Genomsnitt: 2.65 - The ones i could attend - conflicting schedule» (Great extent)
- If you include the seminars, and guest lectures I would rate it as to a large extent.» (Large extent)
- Very good case seminars, but more time should be provided to them (both in the small groups as well as the large groups, since we always had to stop in the middle of our discussion). The lectures were interesting when various persons were invited to spread their knowledge. Did though sometimes lack the direct connection to the class material.» (Large extent)
- I participated in the beginning but as time got more scarce and they didn´,t help towards my examination I prioritized my time elsewhere. » (I did not participate)

- Had good discussions but not enough time.» (Some extent)
- We sent are material a bit too late to be examined before the session. Perhaps it would be good to have a stated deadline when material has to be sent in to be reviewed before sessions.» (Small extent)
- need to be more organized so that you are introduced to new ideas of how to work like this!» (Small extent)
8. To what extent did the guest lectures contribute to your learning?Matrisfråga- These guest lectures Is one of the best guest lectures and most interesting I have been to.
The Tomas Holst is something that should be avaliable to the student on the fist grade or at least to student in all of the master programms.
Sari and Mike leactures were also very good and maybe Sari could be the first one to be viewed in the course»
- Sari and Mike where the absolute best!»
- Tomas´,s lecture was very interesting but I wouldn´,t say that it contributed to my learning. Most of the focus was on the projet management of OMform»
- Very good! More focus on this. The working with the term paper takes away focus from reflecting upon what is given during the lectures. Processing knowledge with others during lectuers are great.»

- Great extent! Discussing articles and process the knowledge during seminars are great.» (Great extent)
- Allways tough with articles but still better than book» (Large extent)
- I really like seminars like this, but as time got more scarce the effort put in to them got less and less. There was no feedback so engagement got lower and lower. Instead of having to come up with questions, provide questions that we need to answer. Then the difference in answers will provide good areas for discussion. Also, provide feedback on the hand-ins ro increase engagement. It is sad that it is som important but what gets measured gets done, and I can´,t justify putting in more effort when it doesn´,t contribute to my grade, more focus is instead put on other projects.» (Large extent)
- some of the articles. A few of them took a lot of time but gave very little.» (Large extent)
- Mostly well chosen cases, but sometimes they lacked something to catch me as a reader. » (Large extent)
- Complicated and not connected to each other in any sense» (Some extent)

- Practice is the best theory :)» (Large extent)
- a huge amount of time and energy that could have been better spent if we had better guidance, lectures of how to do it (master level lectures- not introductions - hardcore tips )» (Some extent)
- To some extent. However, it is more focus to write correctly rather than learn a lot. This i disturbing the way of preparing for lectures and reading articles to the seminar. Also, since the paper is perfomed by a group, the collaboration makes it harder to plan what to do when...» (Some extent)

Genomsnitt: 1.55 - There were some problems, the other part was extremely ambitious in The planning, but ended up waiting until the last possible second to contribute and communicate
» (Rather poor)
- We were on different pages sometimes. May be because of priorities and no clear (ambitions-nivå). Nothing course related.. But I do think that this Sari should come with her input in the course earlier.» (Rather poor)
- The only student I cooporated with was my report colleague.» (Rather poor)
- Collaboration in the main exercise (term paper) of this course is, in my opinion, maybe not optimal. Especially not since it takes a lot of time beside scheduled time. If the group members are taking different courses the way of planning is not that easy...» (Rather poor)

Summarizing Questions17. What should definitely be preserved to next year?- The term paper and the seminars»
- Everything»
- Guest lectures by Sari and Mike»
- The amount of supervision available was good.»
- Seminars and term papers!»
- The term paper»
- seminars»
- Literature seminars and the guest lectures are very good to have and increases the motivation among the students.»
- Guest lectures»
- discussions and guestlectures»
- Goof guest lectures»
- The seminars are so good! To really have a chance to discuss the topics, I like it!»
- Examination through Term Paper»
- Literature seminars.»
- Guest lectures, seminars, term paper.»
- Seminars and Guest Lectures»
- instead of written examination, term paper»
- the group work should be preserved as well as the literature seminars»
- the guest lecturers Mike Moghaddas»
- no written exam
term paper»
- *Seminars and discussions
*Opportunity to present the report before the final hand-in and to receive feedbacks»
- literature seminars are great - structure is really good. meeting in small group with 2 or 3 other students and then meeting in a somewhat larger groups was really effective in having a good discussion and good reflections»
- The easy communication between teacher-student
Guest lectures
Seminars »
- The open discussions on mondays»
- The case seminars and the guest lecturer»
- discussion questions and seminar (follow the concept used in "TEK 230 - Lean Production" »
18. What should definitely be changed to next year?- The presentation sessions, smaller groups thus creating a more interactive setting. »
- The lack of coherence in the course structure. The lectures and seminars don´,t add to the term paper which is the only grading item.
If the term paper is to be kept as the single source of examination. Here is a suggestion to create, in my opinon, a better structure: Have five seminars, 3 are mandatory, students get to choose which they want to go to. And the paper has to be on these areas. As it was in this case, we were asked to choose a subject the first lecture when we didn´,t know anything about the subject. This lead us to choose a subject which were quite hard for a term paper. So by restricting the options of subjects they will become more relevant and interesting for students since we don´,t have the knowledge to make a good decision.
Also, sitting in on all the presentations, 10 hours in reading week 7. People aren´,t engaged and they don´,t listen. Wouldn´,t it be better to make smaller groups, 4 hour session and get a little bit more involvement from the audience instead of everyone sitting and working on other stuff? I think we would learn more from quality instead of quanitity when it comes to the presentations.»
- Maybe the subjects the guest lecturers talk about. They kinda wandered away quite much»
- Presentations, listening to all is not beneficent for learning. Smaller grops would be morse interactive»
- More guidance and clearer goals with the term paper, some articles with a more practical approach»
- some guest lectures»
- Lectures that are adapted more to the term papers, so the students feel that they will be provided with more, and useful, input for their term papers at the classes.»
- Lectures, too broad.»
- The longest sessions.
More real life examples. Sometimes it gets too abstract»
- More scheduled feedback»
- Maybe do the presentations in half-group and discuss each topic afterwards.»
- Articles are a choir to read. The are biased. They are often not based on other things than their own literature review. They are always really old.
Case studies are far superior!»
- Unfortunately, if attendance at seminars are to be higher, the seminars must be mandatory»
- Time for supervision should be extended. Some more theory lectures.»
- Order of the lectures, get Sari here first since she talkes about circle of experience, which is good to know from the start!»
- Term Paper topics. It could be interesting if you could list out the areas for the topics to be chosen from. Then there would be a healthy mix of topics rather than same topics by different people.»
- maybe some articles of seminars, that were somehow difficult to read and deeply understand»
- - The lectures are too long! Maybe they can be split up in two lectures on different days.
»
- the intensity of the lectures. Increase the tempo, be clear on what exactly the point is of each 10 minuters of lectures. Add tips on how to succeed with the report.»
- maybe each seminar, one group could be asssigned to take the role an lead the seminar»
- Somehow the examiners should assess whether the articles have been completely read or not and should underline more the most important issues of the literature.
In fact the literature plays a very big role in the learning and sometimes it is criticized by the students without understanding the real meaning or findings.»
- the supervision meetings are bit too short. 15 minutes is a bit too short, better to have fewer meetings that are longer»
- The order of guest lecture (Maybe Sari Scheinberg lecture at the beginning because very useful)»
- Provide more time to seminars.»
- The way of working with term paper. Clearer instructions? Better guidelines? No groups? Is a term paper really necessary if there are seminars, group discussions and exercises?»
19. Would you recommend this course to other students?- Yes»
- Yes very much»
- No I´,m sorry to say that I wouldn´,t. »
- yes definitely. »
- Yes»
- yes»
- Yes, if the direction of study is within the change management concept.»
- Probably»
- yes»
- Absolutely!»
- Not really, Mickey course.»
- yes»
- Ofcourse! This is great!»
- Yes, Definitely»
- Definitely yes!!!»
- Yes»
- Not like it is today. Maybe for basic level but not as a masters course. »
- Yes»
- yes»
- Yes of course, very interesting and notably for student that already work in a company»
- Yes »
- Yes, but I would also tell them to in an early phase think about collaboration partner and all different moments.»
20. Do you have any additional comments?- Thanks, that was a great course, I learned a lot.»
- Good course and skilled lecturers!»
- it good course for personal development skills»
- Both Sverker and Kristian are quite nice, and supportive to our study,
I feel it will be better if you recommend a specific text book, because I feel that we learn a little bit from here and there, not very systematical.»
- I think its good that this course is so much about reflection, thinking and discussing. Many courses is about facts, and to be able to "rabbla listor", but this one was really about a way to think. Reflection is everything!»
- Thanks both to Sverker and Kristian for a great course. I will keep in touch during thesis work probably :)»
- Not many, but particularly about the area of the topics which I mentioned in Q18. Also, the number of students for the Term paper could be increased to 3-4 if you find it to be too many groups--> (May be):)
Thank you for this Course»
- great course, found it very interesting! »
