- I"ve had much the same problem latley. At the start of the year, I joined an online RWA loop dedicated to setting and posting writing goals. And for the most part, it really worked. I do best with concrete lists of things to do (although I never seem to get through them all). My last goal was to finish the NF book I was working on for Llewellyn and also the edits of my latest novel by April 30th. Accomplished the first, and was only 8 days late on the 2nd.BUT then I took a much needed break from writing, and now that I"m back to it, I"m having a hard time setting reasonable goals and/or keeping up with them. Sigh. I just have to remind myself that no one is looking over my shoulder and that most of the goals are (like your Sept deadline) well in advance of what is absolutely necessary.
