14. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- Martins lectures are very good. I also really liked the questions after each lecture. They were very pedagogic and helpful as a learning exercise for the exam. The laborations were very helpful aswell. »

- I like the visit to Akzo Nobel at the beginning of the term. It really got me into the understanding of the application of the course. »

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- it would be better if they could use the coursepage instead for sending everything to the mail»
- No laborations should be held in the last week, 5 days before the exam! They could instead have started earlier, the first week, and finished earlier. Also having lectures containing completely new information and corresponding to 20% of the exam should not be held in the last week before the exam!»
- Jan-erics part was way to large on the exam. It"s not reasonable to have 18 % of the total exam on his part that was 6 days before the actual exam. I was chocked when I saw this as I had not had the time to study his part that elaboratly as clearly was needed. The course material is also quite useless. I can honestly say that I hardly learned anything from the course book. It was all from lectures and the laborations. »
- Maybe some extra classes with possibility to make exercises on your own hand and the oppurtunity to ask questions.»
- Don"t have labs so late in the period. No one wants a labreport to be due in the exam period or just before. A course home page whould be better! It is difficult to find all the different lecture slides in the mail box. »

16. Additional comments

- Course homepage was not used at all, the lectures were instead email. This is a very messy system and it"s hard to get any structure and finding the right things to print. Also no final lecture for asking questions or go through of an old exam was held! VERY BAD! Especially since the structure of the exam was completely different from previous years. Also the possibility to ask questions was very bad, email response was very slow. It also seems unfair that previous years 18/40 points on the exam was required for passing and this year it was 20/40. Any motivation for why this year you suddenly would not pass with the same credit as someone last year would have passed with?! And again, adding a new part to the course, which was not at all in the exams previous years, is held the last week and correspond to 20% of exam is just not fair. The worst part was still not being able to ask questions in the end.. bad teaching!»
- Martin Andersson is a very good teacher and explains very good.»
- The lab TA helped us to understand the course materials a lot. Also, when we got questions, it is a channel for us to ask about it. »
