- Julies lectures were very good, the site visit was very interesting and I enjoyed learning more about critically viewing research articles. It was also good to have the quiz in the middle of the period, it helped both in following the course after the quiz better and will help considerably when I study to the exam.»

- Julie is an excellent lecturer in the fact that she inspires and explains everything thouroughly! She has a tendency of speaking too long, but the quality of the lecture is so good that it doesnt really matter.
But anyway the lecture times should be kept (for our sakes).
The site visit was great!

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?- nothing»
- The lecture about protein interaction was boring and the teacher spoke too low. Fortunately the textbook has a good chapter in this subject.»
- It would have been very interesting to have had a lab class.
During the review sessions I think the teachers took a little bit to much place, speaking more than the students it would have been better to let us talk first and than add additional comments. i also think i could have been a little bit more clear how to answer the questions during the review (e.g. how long should the answers be). The reviews and the quiz could also be handed out after being graded so we can learn from our mistakes. the results from the quiz and review 2 were given the day before the exam, I think that was to late (we had no opportunity to learn from our mistakes from the quiz to the exam). »

- Tycker inte att redov. Från studiebesöken ska göras som de gjorde i år! Det blev så att två fick göra allt jobb vilket är fruktansvärt dåligt! Inga har mer tid än någonannan! Ett förslag vore att alla i gruppen redovisade eller att man besökte båda två! Dumt att man fick duggasvaret så sent! Jag skulle vilja veta det minst en vecka innan tentan så man kan lägga det bakom sig och veta vad som förväntas av en på tentan! Dåligt att det inte framgår vad som händer när man inte klarar ett obligatoriskt moment! Ska man göra om dog? När ? »
16. Additional comments- I was expecting to learn more practical things, i.e. which material do you use for which type of implants. Have some exercices with concrete cases where you define which outcome you want to have.
Also a lecture covering the present state in the field would be nice. The course is called biomaterials, but we study almost nothing about the materials, and that is missing for sure. I think that it is too focused on the biological part. Some introduction to the materials in medicine course, or a strong incentive to read it in the syllabus would be a nice guidance.»
