- Laboratory times, slides in molecular biology.»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- The lectures should entirely have slides, in order to spend hours to understand and to to copy the course. The textbook is useless, expensive and heavy. We should have some exercises to use our knowledges...»
- The book is a mess, like a dictionary that is very hard to use. The study questions were handed out AFTER the lecture. Why didn"t we get them study week 1. It was very hard to understand what to learn, and the study questions actually didn"t help that much when you consider the exam. »
- The slide lectures should be written on the board instead. Since in order to learn something you need to activate several senses. »
- - Study questions should be handed out before course start! - Old exams should definetly be accessable for ALL students! - The DNA part was bad and lectures were poorly done. No more powerpoint!»

16. Additional comments

- There is too many things to learn in a few time, for sure we will forget everything. The course should focus in less area and we could spent more time to understand, instead of learn by heart. »
- The lectures were pretty bad, hard to understand, too many details for a beginner"s course. No introduction at all, common examples of what everything means and is used for is needed. Especially when the book is that hard to read and distinguish which parts are important. A new book is really needed. The laborations (why no questions about laborations?????) were good and Gupta and Peter were very helpfull. _Unfortunately, the laborations were too early in the course. I can"t see why you planned a lecture for questions the day after the last lecture, 2 weeks ahead from the exam. We had no time for studying and prepare questions, and finally when we had questions, you didn"t answer in mail (it was a yes/no question). I think this is very lame and bad behaviour for an examiner. Has to be improved for the next year!!! Why just lecture about reactions in first part and then not examine that! Very confusing for students. Also, the second part: not good with powerpoint, too detailed. You have a chance to teach overall pathways and processes but just details were explained (poorly) in the lectures. »
