- I think our teacher was one of the best teacher in whole my life, his teching, contact with students and also exam difficulties was great. Our tutor and Project responsible were also very helpful in learning process.»

- THERE IS NEED FOR THE TUTORIALS TO BE TAUGHT IN A BETTER WAY IN WHICH STUDENTS EASILY GRASP THE CONCEPTS AND THE EXPECTED OUTCOMES OF THE PROBLEMS BEING SOLVED. A STEP BY STEP APPROACH SHOULD BE ADOPTED SO THAT STUDENTS ARE ABLE TO FOLLOW WHAT THE TUTOR IS DOING AS WELL AS ENSURING THAT STUDENTS DON"T LOSE TRACK OF WHAT IS BEING SOLVED.»

- I think it took too much time before the tutorial solutions for every tutorial was uploaded. There was a lag of approx. one week.»

- Question 9 isn"t a yes or no question. I answered yes for the former statement there. I would like to have the corresponding tutorial on the same day as the lecture.
About the teaching, the teachers are great. Especially Peiyuan is a really good teacher. He has enthusiasm and is very easy to listen to and learn from. Keep him as teacher for next year!»

- I thought the exam was abit to big for the amount of time that was given. I would rather like to have some hand-ins during the course and then on the exam it could be more focus on what we learnd, instead of calculating a lot of geometry.»

- I feel as though the solutions for the tutorials need to be shortened. Either that or maybe there should be other exercises in the tutorials. The exercises are very long and you do not learn in the best possible way by doing 5 exercises per week. You want some element of repetition when learning something new so that it sticks in your memory. The tutorials are very bad in that way. There should be more than one exercise on each subject in the course but there"s just not any time to have more unless you have shorter tasks.»
- The tutorials. Very few questions that were way too hard. Would be better if there were lots of exercise questions that gradually increase in difficulty.»

Good program when it works but many hours were spent redoing things because the program crashed»
- The program Power World was actually a dissapointment. The project was to big and took to much time and did not affect my learning to that extent that it could help me a lot with my exam or understanding for the course. The project should be smaller and maybe divide it with Matlab excersises so we as students could benefit more from calculations and to understand what we actually did in Power World.»

18. Additional comments- Exam was pretty hard, I spent all the time calculating and had no time to read over my solutions.»

- The course lecturer did a wonderful job. How the unversity determines this and do the promotion for all the other leturers to do the same job?»

- I think the last lab is too late and the last chapters(5-6-7) are taught too fast compared to the first chapters (1-2-3). »
- In tutorial, when we deal with problems related to newton raphson, fault calculation etc., lot of time has been spent on converting all to perunit, instead of its core solution.»
- The philosophy of the tutorial exercises were different from the philosophy of the exams. Also attending them was like reading the solutions. They offered nothing more.
The exam questions didn"t examined whether the student studied the course, especially the question with the L which was a geometry question more or less and the transformer question. Also the transformer question was confusing.»
- After a few weeks the attendance dropped in the tutorials for lack of explanation/teaching. After the course feedback session the tutorials immediately got better»
- I think the exam was alot harder than the teacher hinted it would be.»
- It"s very important that Chalmers educate the lecturers. Although a lot of knolledge there are obvius lack in pedagogic skills. Isn"t there any program to helping lecturers and tutors to be excellent in their teaching.»

- Exams were not asking questions about the fundamenatal parts of the course. Every question had a new "twist" that made the exam TO HARD!! Of course an exam should have some twists on some of the questions, but not on ALL of them!! Many student that were well prepered did not even have time to finish all questions on the exam! That is not right! »
