- I had use of the lessons to different extent depending on the teacher. Igor Zoric presented very informative lectures.» (Some extent)

- The slides were most often very good as lecture slides, which meant that they were not that good as reading material. As the book was on somewhat a lower level than the lectures this discrepancy could be resolved if the lecturers produced lecture notes in text format. However the slides should not be changed, as more information on them would make the lectures worse.» (Some extent)

- Sometimes hard to follow deadlines and so on if you didn"t searched for it specific.» (Rather badly)
- A lot of information was missing, both from the homepage and when it came to information presented in class. The project was very hard to understand the guidelines to, which was also clear in the posters at the presentation. I also found it hard to grasp what key topics to take home from the lectures.» (Rather badly)

- Maybe we could have had the project sooner to spread the load more evenly. If you followed along in the book it was easier to keep a steady work load.» (Adequate)

- I liked most of the content, but was not pleased with the very unclear guidelines for projekt, lectures, exam and so on. All the information should be on the homepage, preferably from the start of the course.» (Fair)
- The lectures could be more structured. You don"t always know what is important from the lectures. Hard to follow the lecture notes if you have not been to the lecture (and sometimes even after that) and everything"s not in the course litterature. Maybe have lecture notes where it"s more straight foreward what is goning on (especially those with many equations) or if possible even have some kind of compendium.» (Adequate)

14. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- It was nice to do a project. Fun with another form of presentation like the poster. Could be more info about how the poster should be formed. Don"t think many of the students have done posters before.»

- Project with poster presentation was interesing, if the information could be better. It was a first, which is good.»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- Show in the lectures what is important. Igor was very good on this, but in the other lectures it was unclear.»
- State clearly that thhis course is a somewhat repetitive course in several fields that many students have already studied. So the motivation to study superconductors when the proper course was in quarter 2 seemed half meaningless.»
- Clearer marking on what level the course is on. Some lectures contained much mathematical formula, and some calculational examples whereas the exam did not. It was hard to know on what level of understanding the exam would be on.»
- The information has to be clearer and more thorough. It would also be good if it could be made more clear what is the emphasis of each lecture, it was hard to seperate background info from key info. »
