- It is hard to understand if the course is focused on the mathematics / physics of wave loads or if its a more knowledge / theory based course. The lectures indicates that the focus is the mathematics but the exam was entirely study-questions. » (I don"t know/have not been examined yet)

- The learning sessions are slow and focused on formulas but it is not connected to any kind of physics or understanding.» (Poor)
- The objectiv of the lectures needs to be clearer and explain the background of the formulas, it is not necessery to littratury read the formula but an explanation of where from and why it is there would be good. Shortly mention what is required that the student should be able to do would is also a suggestion on what might be aproved to next year.» (Poor)

- The learning sessions have been hard to follow. I have been reading the litterature parallelly without getting much out the lectures, especially those sessions with a lot of equations presented. The understanding has better in the end of the course, mainly due to the study questions handed out, but also due less complexity of the material presented.» (Fair)

- The softwere is not very good, hard to use and works badly. I would rather to it in MatLab» (Poor)
- To much collecting numbers and low understanding, Havent get the grade or feedback on the assignment yet» (Fair)
- I think that the assignment it self was pretty good. The octopus software however is terrible and most of the time spent on the project was getting the software to run not the actual learning or method.
I think that an assignment in MATLAB would be more suitable, most of the students are very proficient in MATLAB and all the focus could have gone to understanding the mathematics / statistics / method of the assignment, off course the assigments would have to be a little bit smaller , maybe just one ship and 6 different headning or something like that. » (Fair)
- I think the assignment was good, but I also think it was a little to time-consuming. I would have liked to spend more time to understand what has been presented in class and less time with octopus. After a certain time, we had the knowledge required, and the rest of the time was spent on repeating, repeating and repeating. I like the idea, just reduce it a little. » (Good)

- Its an advanced subject and the structure of the course is quite good. But, it can not be learned out via power point, its impossible to folow the lectures when there is only equations on the slides, there has to be more text and i would like to se it written on the board instead. » (Poor)

20. Additional comments- I feel like, in the way you teach the course it is to hard so you have compensated with a to easy exam. I learned a lot from the study questions but i could have learned more if there were more of them. As it is now all the students have only learned the study questions which was more than enough to pass the exam.»
