15. What should definitely be changed to next year?- There is basically no information about examaniation, how we will be graded, if the exercises and projects counts in to the final grade. The students has allways go to the teachers to ask when they can get their exercises back. Many things arn"t decided before hand, the responsible for the course doesn"t know and divergent information comes from different teachers»
- maybe the written exam could be changed, the exam was rather difficult to understand without being able to discuss what the questions mean. It was more like an exercise. It was a good exam, it tested the course, but it is difficult when it is in the form of a written exam.»
- as an erasmus student without the systems biology course, it was really hard for me. maybe there should be a restriction to that course if someone haven"t done the same or a similar course to systems biology. at least, it should be more pointed out that the course requires somehow systems biology. i think that was not in the description. otherwise it is more frustrating than instructive. however, i think that i personally learned a lot though. the project was demanding but i learned a lot of new things. »
- Information about how the different parts of the course adds up to the final grade. The exam needs to be better in terms of how the questions relate to what we learn during the course. »
16. Additional comments- clearer information from start. At first only the exam determined the grade, then the exam, exercises and litterature project (maybe, it never was quite clear if the litterature assignment determine the grade).»
- i really liked that you got an good insight in metabolic engineering and its applications. »
