- THe Labbs, but do as i HV 1, have the students hand in the report before the labb instead, »

Working with Comsol, which is a very nice tool.

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?- The lectures is sometimes a little bit boring and hard to follows - a lot of details rather than a bit more overview knowledge.»
- The project takes too much time. More calculating tutorials since half the exam is calculations. 3 teachers writing the exam is never good. »
- The focus of the course has to be better. To many diffrent groups, projects, lab, workshops, demonstations.»
- Please write a compendium. The book is hard to read and it is hard to follow the slideshows when preparing for the exam.»
- It would help if printouts were handed out.
Many people are involved in this course and this affects its homogenuity.
The initial (scary) electric field calculation examples are not necessary in this course I think.
Although the lab and project work in the frame of the course is positive, it might be fair for the projects to contribute to the grade.
In several parts the course appears to be a repetition of High Voltage Engineering.
The labs are long and include much repetition of doubtful usefulness. »
- Tutorial structure. Put all the topics in order. State about this order in the beginning and probably redo some presentations due to their low educative quality.»
- Because Lab1 takes a lot of time, it should be som questions on it on the exam.»
16. Additional comments- The exams are too hard in the calculations part considering the small amount of calculations done during the tutorials and the high amount of project work. Make the project work 2.5 credits out of the 7.5. »
- I fellt it was really hard to get the point of this course, what are we soppose to no by its ending. »
- The main benefit from this course for me is the knowledge obtained from the many projects. I enjoyed working with Comsol and I had my questions fully answered by Yuriy and the other supervisors. The teaching was of good quality and the slides were up to the point. The exam was of sensible level and in relation to the taught content. However I believe that there are improvements that can be made (please see above). »
- The goals of the course were scattered. Poor intensity of the course. It was hard to follow tutorial assignments. Tutorials were the weakest point because of absence of tutorial guidance. Should be more examples in the tutorial which may finally intensify the course program.»
- The lecturers are so friendly and nice internal communication among all of them.»
- The workload is very uneven. First three weeks there wasnt much to do, but after the break, there was too much.»
