- i didn"t wanted to miss anything! but i went traveling... just the seminars i missed them intentionally after the first one..» (75%)
- Some parts like the two last workshops did not felt reasonable for the course (the one about reports were too late)» (75%)

- the goals were difficult to grasp for me .... because i was totally ignorant on the subject... now that i read them they make much more sense... besides , i trusted Henrike blindly, so i just assumed whatever i learned would be very useful . » (The goals are difficult to understand)

- When the course is given for more than the students studying environmental issues it is important to have all students in mind. All environmental specific terms is not clear for everyone.» (No, the goals are set too high)

- I thought the exam was ok, but it was too little time!!! I know that I can answer all the questions in a good way, but I didn"t have time, which is really frustrating when you know you would have been able to to answer them!!!» (No, not at all)
- I think the exam was a bit too heavy. Too many questions that expected a lot of writing...» (To some extent)
- But the time wasn"t sufficient. I would propose a home exam as it would assess much better what you are supposed to learn.» (Yes, definitely)

- The lectures was really bad. I didn"t learned a thing from them. They felt unstructured and in many times not answered to the topic of the day. One hour lectures is not preferred.» (Small extent)

- The administration became better as the course preceed. The group "making" was really catastrophic as well as the supervision.» (Rather badly)

9. What could be made better for next years teaching regarding the project, guest lectures, seminars and workshops? We apprechiate your suggestions.

- Home exam!!!!!!! And, the group work should be made smaller. And, then you should have individual assignments as well. The group work represents to high percentage. In my opinion, it is crazy to have a group work that composes 40 percent of the grade. The result is so much dependent on what group you end up in. »
- I loved the guest lectures! Seminars were a bit frustrating, as they seemed not to have much in common with the lectures.»
- more sturcture. lit seminar 3 was the best, the other 2 was quite unnecessary when it comes to helping to understand the text. project syllabus was difficult to understand.»
- * Lecture to be more formal in a sense that there should be lectures on the course home page ( the current lecture method, black board lecture do not help to fulfill the course objective) * The project is good to understand the subject better but is taking way too much time, so my suggestion is to make the weight-age at least 50% of the total mark. * More guest lecture will be appreciated * Educational visit to companies is lacking and I think at least two visit to companies who have a good environmental management background will more strengthen the lecture, project work and guest lecture»
- all of the guest lectures are great! seminar seems of less help to our study. It would be better if seminar could be more related to the topics we discussed in the lectures. Project work are helpful. More tutoring is needed. »
- literature seminars are not really good... i got more by discussing among the classmates... the discussion is not really leaded.... and if it is, it was not very nourishing... perhaps to promote our freedom of thinking... which is good, but perhaps inadequate for the purpose of a seminar. »

- The literature workshops didn"t seem very structured. The teachers giving the workshop should be better prepared and lead the discussions.»

- To publish the slides from lectures on the course page. To have more serious seminars, you could send a reflection in but you didn"t need too and didn"t give you anything extra for the exam. The project was very unclear and it was hard to know what to produce. To big project for the course. »
- The woman giving the lecture about "india" was not very good!»

- Maybe foreign students should make some kind of english test before coming to Chalmers?!» (Very poorly)
- The split up of the group work was a bit unequal, you do different amount of work. But, that is also because you aim at different grades. » (Rather well)

- I wouldn"t recommend the course to students that don"t study environmental issues. It doesn"t give anything for them. Today it is a management course for environmental students not a course in environmental management!» (Poor)
- I am not a environmental engineering student and we who don"t belong to that programme flet excluded in some extent. For example the movie about what to work with. I would not recommend students from my master (DCPM) to take this course next year. » (Fair)
- I think the course was good in general, but I", really disappointed with the exam. You didn"t have time to answer all the questions!!! But, I"ve mentioned that above...» (Adequate)
- I really enjoyed Henrikke"s lectures as we there were some really interesting discussions.» (Good)

16. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- project syllbus, litterature seminars, home exam instead of exam (lots of writing under har time pressure of 5 hours!)»

- the instructor of the seminar and workshops has to be more leader... little bit more authoritarian because we waste time just to settle the logistics of this events... so , don´,t leave it up to 30 people to decide in the moment how we should work... just say it! and the workshop on reporting was also not nourishing...it was good to see one... but a way to make this more nourishing is maybe guiding the students through the pages and making some observations or whatever.. instead of just handing out a complete report to look it throughly... we all know they are boring (even the literature says it ! )»
- Make more out of the literature seminars. Change the exam to a home exam as the content of the course could be much better examined by writing an essay at home instead of rushing through the exam in 5 hours»
- If you offer the course to other programmes than environmental engineering you must include these students in a better way. Is it a management course for environmental mangement or a environmental course for other institutes?»

- There is many ex-change students which can make it even harder in the project. Many ex-change students are bachelor students and do not reach the level of master students. »
