- The course book is very old and would be great to change.
Tasks so you know what is important would be good
The exam tested on details out of the book and from the lectures which meant that it was hard to pass even if you read a lot. It"s a 600 page book and as it is now it felt like you had to know all of it to pass the course - which is impossible.
An assignment as part of the examination might be a good idea, that could make the course focus more on understanding instead of just repeating things until some of it sticks.
It"s easier to remember things from a course that makes you think, that would make it more suitable for people from other programmes then chemistry if that is searched for.»
- Better structured lectures, power points could be better adjusted to the most important topics of the course. Some smaller assignments during the course could help to give it structure.»
