- i really liked the microfluidics lecture, maybe an additional one in microchip technology could be added. »

- i think aldo need to be more understandably when people ask him things. aldo need to give correct info the first time eg. can"t come one day before homework shall be sended in and say that we can"t do this and that. aldo need to say all things that are included in the source e.g. no one know about homework before we get it -BAD!! maybe change the seinarium, its hard to sit a whole afternoon and listen to presentations specially when many of them were on the same subject e.g.MS maybe divide into two parts were 50% of all sub jets in each and you only need to attend one presentation of them »

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- I would like to have some more lectures with Aldo since I think he is a very good lecturer and he was partly the reason for me chosing this course.»
- A specific lecture: The PCA lecture was not clear and students were expected to have previous knowledge. Many student claim that they did not benefit from this lecture.»

- the final presentation workshop should be definitely splitted in two days because in the end after 5, 6 hours it was really hard to focus and pay attention which is an disadvantage for groups at the end who deserve full attention for their presentation. »
- the presentations of the literature projects. divide it into more than one part: -either that everyone must attend all times -or that you make larger groups with 1 group from each technique that can present and discuss with eachother. If it"s not so many presentations it is easier to stay active. and if it is only 3 groups, you can also hand out the others" reports so that you can read them and prepare questions before the presentations. The concept of this year with the presentation was terrible! if you must have it at one time, do not pick friday afternoon/night, and at least have some sandwiches and drinks for the students!»

- It would be nice if you could offer something to eat (coffee/cake or sandwich) during the long presentation since the café closes at 3 pm and we can"t get food anywhere else after that with only 5 min break. Or tell the students in advance to bring some own food. »
- if possible, it will be better that the word size in PPT of the guest lectures is big enough!»

- The presentation of the literature projects! Now we had to sit through 6,5 hours of presentations in one day with only 5 min. break each hour. We finished at 19.30 a Friday evening ... It was impossible to listen to the last presentations because I was so tired and hungry, I was just trying to not fall asleep. Why not divide the presentations and have them in two days? Then I think that this course really ought to have a course page. It was quite hard to organise all the course material if it was sent via email (there were a lot of mail to keep track of ...) and it"s so much easier to prepare for the course before the start of it if there"s some information on Studentportalen you can read. Now there was NOTHING on Studentportalen.»

16. Additional comments

- During the lab qualifications some students clearly did not have enough knowledge to pass. Still they did and this made the workload for us others big during laboration and when writing the report since we had to explain and correct basic facts. Also I experienced some texts during reportwriting being from wikipedia and it felt copy paste. This was also irritating.»
- The course is very beneficial and alot of hard work goes into bringing in people from industry. A lot of students attended to learn and I don"t think this course needs to change other than what was stated above.»
- tell all mandatory tasks in the beginning of the course, also small ones, because everyone have a lot to do and plan from the things they get to know in the beginning of the course. it is very impopular to suddenly get a homework that should be handed in that noone knew about!»
- I learned a lot during this course and I think that it will be very useful for me in the future :)»

- It was very interesting to have a course without a written exam! We ought to have more courses that don"t rely on the concept on lab+ev. project+written exam. I think it"s very educational to have courses with different structures.»
