15. What should definitely be changed to next year?- the multiple choice exam
does not force people to read the book at all. »
- Nothing in perticurlar»
- Some of the exercises weren"t described well enough and some could have been changed. For example the exercise with the rocket launch wasn"t very interesting because you cannot make a compelling argument if you don"t understand what you argue for.
In some subjects a little too much focus was put on the scientific part, which I don"t believe is that important when presenting information. Some questions regarding numbers should maybe be toned down as well, if you can focus on 0-2 or 2-4 degrees doesn"t help me much.»
- Maybe some intermediate meetings before hand in the projects. More real world samples of problematic interfaces which have to deal with large amounts of information»

- More workshop were people can interact with each other more and get consultancy from teacher during the project, tips and tricks.»

- Poster session, divide class into 3 groups, 1/3 standing at posters and 2/3 walking around the posters. Switch groups after 2 hours.»

- Deadlines of tasks, course project and literature presentation were too close to each other.»

- Know whether the exercises and project are going to be graded or not from the beginning of the course, as well as what part of the grade they comprise. Very important.»
16. Additional comments- very useful course. more info on usability testing is probably needed for the majority of the students who have not studied this area. however that is probably outside the scope of the course so difficult question.»
- The course in general, was the most interesting of the MSc of IxD&T, not just for the content but the pedagogy and the way the teacher could transmit his knowledge and also motivate us. As a personal observation it would have been interesting to go deeper with more information about interfaces and information visualization.»
- passing score for exam 60% is a bit too high for students from other courses, especially when exam contains terminology (not good at remembering the terms)»
- The course and the lectures were very interesting, but the rocket exercise was a bit too hard.»
- Would love another, practical, course in the next study period, where all of this theory is applied.»
- Great lecturer! Should be kept in the IxD-programme!»
