Regarding lectures, seminars, projects, etc you have participated in: Please mention three good things in the course and three things that can be improved.- Good lectures about programming, didn"t go in too deep on different subjects. The project was fun. Good that there were only two labs. Next time you can skip the literature seminar. Also, I think it is sufficient with only the project report, and not the home exam, as one of the questions on the exam was basically the project report. Finally, you should send feedback for the project and home exam. I got a 4 on the home exam, and a G on the project, but only a 3 for the course as a whole. In the project description, it says that the project is supposed to be graded 3, 4 or 5, but still I only got a G?»- Improvements: -Could be more structured from the beginning. -The report seminar seemed to be there just to have more work to do. Would have been better to put that effort on the project instead. -Bigger rooms. Good: +Good teacher and assistants +Nice way of going through a new language +Nice with a programming project» - Laborations where great, project was fun but its necessary to show the importance of how big a project one actually can cope is that timeframe. None of the projects in the class did get done, I think most of us underestimated how much we could do for that project. » - The papers were unnecessary besides that everything was great » - The exercises was good preparation for the project and homexam. It was also good that the project was conducted in small groups and that the home exam was individual since this made the grading fair. The planning could have been better (not just for the coming week). Quicker feedback from exercises, project and home exam.» - Good! - Engaged teachers - Somewhat design- and interface oriented - iOS focused Could be improved - Workload could be more equally divided, both project and final exam at the same time is not perfectly optimal. - More feedback» - Three Good things: 1. Very practical information about mobile application design and implementation. 2. Very friendly teaching team, easy to get help. 3. Clear goal in general. Three things could improve: 1. Some more attention to other platforms other than iOS. 2. More resources, such as computers, meeting rooms. 3. Quicker feedback on assignments, projects and exam.» - The teachers were very helpful, interesting lectures and that student hold seminars. improved: I can understand the focus on iPhone, because of the lack of guidelines etc for Android. But the new version of Android seem to be better compared to the earlier ones. So that could maybe be used from the start in the next version of the course. » 5. You should consider using Android instead, so you can do the labs from home even if you don"t own a Mac.» - Very good, but it was a strange idea to support Apple by buying mac computers for the work shop. They are more expensive for the same hardware and technically the phone is not as good as competitors (for obvious reasons as mac products are released in a slower phase). Supporting companies that does not give the most for the money is not acceptable in a university evironment.» - not that much room to sit undisturbed.» - Worked from home, because there isn"t any good location at Kuggen to build code exactly.» - The lecture room is kind of bad...» - Very nice» - The pillar in the middle of the lecture hall wasn"t optimal.» - 50%, not that satisfied. Not enough computers, not enough places, only half a kitchen available. And lindholmen is far away to get to.» 8. How did you experience the psychological work environment?- Very good.»- very good» - quite high» - Heavy, didn"t realize the scope of our project until the last week before the deadline. I couldn"t really sleep those days before the deadline due to this stress factor of having to have something to show.» - Good» - good» - Good.» - Good, if you meant the atmosphere in the class. (Could they explain course content in a comprehensive way?)- Good pedagogical skills. Clear and understandable.»- Good.» - He is good, but it is inappropriate to be a fan of a specific company (and negative towards another) during teaching hours.» - Good.» - Olof was great, he though us a lot. And changed the way we program code in a way which is much more sensible than what we have done before.» - No it was good.» - very good» - Good, engaged and interested.» - I think the teachers are very good,lectures are straight forward and demos are very helpful. But it is a big pity that there is not enough support to students who decided to use other platform except for iOS.» - Yes» 12.
