But indeed, in my opinion, we spent more time on this course unconsciously by thinking about the lectures on our way back home, when we fall asleep, or in discussions with fellows at lunch or other occasions where we link the real life to the studied contented in this course. » (At most 15 hours/week) 3. I also liked the "ccr in practice" parts with discussions in the class. Nevertheless sometimes it was not possible to talk with the neighbour about lecture-contents,» - N/A» - Interesting lectures, very enthusiastic lecturer :)» - could have been a bit more interesting» - A lot of talking and few slides with less information. For the exam it would be better to have some comments to the pictures. » - + narrative story telling parts (impressive background) good to remember» - very good» - He is an engaged teacher with a sense of humor which I really enjoy! She seamed a bit nerveous and then it would have been easier if well prepared to be able to explain. » - good» - Therese should have more confidence when teaching. As she is a PhD-student I"m sure that she knows a lot about the subject but during her lecture, she gave the impression of not being comfortable in front of the class and therefore the lecture didn"t get as interesting as it could have been. » - Very helpfull and gave good feedback and supervision, overall a nice person » - Were quite good and well organized.Easy to follow.» - I was late for his lecture.» - Missed that class!» 11. What is your opinion about the construction law lecture by Josefin Engblom and Jonas Larson at Mannheimer Swartling?- OK»- It was one of the most interesting lectures in the whole reading period. A lot of discussion was inspiring and I kept a lot of knowledge and was discussing some contents after the lecture with other students.» - N/A» - Very good, also nice with a change of environment.» - practical approach on the course but not something special» - Very good! What is your opinion of the course book by Potts: Construction Cost Management- did not read»- It only supports the lectures to small extent, Anyway it was interesting to read and the Case-studies were inspiring» - I found it pretty good. Cannot remember why, but it was easy to understand.» - Not very useful...» - did not really study it» - Boring and it is hard to find important information. It does not connect with the lectures. » - Since the book was questioned by Anna in the first lecture I havn"t bought it. The parts I read later for the exam were nicely written but the different use of terms is still a problem and actually vital for approaching the courses content.» - very good» - It"s ok. » - Not that good but i guess it is hard to find alternatives, maybe use the book we use in construction governance by Winch » - As an international student from Tanzania where we follow the UK system, the Course book was quite relevant. What is your opinion of the group literature assignment (usefulness, topics, length, presentation)?- It was good for my learning»- It is useful, sometimes it was difficult to present one topic within 2 pages. In the end I wasn"t very happy about the paper since everybody had diffrent opinions. The presentation would be better of they were graded since some groups didn"t put much effort in it.» - It was fun, and probably where I learned the most.» - Good» - very good and helpful to understand the course. could have been more of them and less reading material» - It was a good exercise but I can not see the connection to the rest of the course. » - very useful but inappropriate for a group of four » - very useful» - Useful for getting to know a certain subject but I didn"t learn as much as I had hoped I would during the presentations.» - Good» - The group literature and assignment were quite useful to explore knowledge on the topic related.» - I do not have any suggestion.» - Good topic and smart to do a smaller assignment which attends to have better content than a long paper with only alot of words. » 21. In the workshop some groups were not at all on the same page as the other and that made it difficult to compare. The workshop was good but would be better if it was lead by a teacher. » - very useful» - To be useful it need to be administred in a different way. » - interesting interview, less strict rules to prepare for workshop are enough, rather useful was the discussion among the students during the workshop» - very useful» - Our interviewee was not very friendly but we learnt some both during the interview and the workshop.» - Good» - It was quite well organized and we received support from proffesors and interviewees! Since we have that opportunity here in sweden.(If possible)» - Assignment, and lecture at mannheimer swartling!» 27.
