- Nothing in Ping-Pong was correct. Dates, times etc for handins. Files with comments on reports were put in the main folder so everyone could read everyones comments.» (Very badly)

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- Better guidance, we could not get any help anywhere»
- It should defernitely be possible to choose a project from the Automation track»
- Jonas SJöberg should not supervise. I think that the course is compulsory next year, which implies that ~60students will read it?. Have projects that is not based in the RAM-lab. It fits 3 projects okey. 4 projects might work, but it is a bit to much. »
- The importance given to the report should be reduced maybe.»
- Better equipment that works beforehand and are well documented is needed.»

17. The projects you could choose between, was there any topic you missed?

- Would like a project where knowledge from the IDES and DECO course could be applied, i.e. a project fit for the systems track. Now only the mechatronics and control track are covered»

- since we were allowed to suggest our own project i did not miss any topic. It would be cool if the quadracopter was availiable. »

18. Do you feel that this project course is an important part of the master program?

- If it would have offered a suitable project but not now when it doesn"t»
- Yes and no. Depends on personal interests and skills. It should definitely not be compulsory. Having a compulsory course in autumn year 2 removes the ability to to a master thesis whenever you like. Some find awesome thesis projects during autumn. Now, they can"t do it, cause they have to do this course.»
- Definitely, it was a real occasion to put into practice everything learned (control theory, system modeling...).»
- Yes. But it need to be improved.»
- the workload is too high, but the content of the course is very good. If this is to be a mandatory course i think it would be prefereable if all allowed projects were "ready for code". I.e all the hardware and communication and such should allready be done so that the students can focus on the main goals of the project. »

19. In the project, you do a lot of planning and you have to formulate the goals yourself. Would you prefer more specified projects, with the drawback that you then have less freedom?

- No I think that the fact that we can formulate the goals ourselves is very good, since the main goal is not made to be reached but mainly to know in which direction the project should go.»

- the planning phase and the freedom is great! The project should be specified in such a way that it is reasonable to finish in time. As mentioned above, finished HW platforms with communication and setup done is to be prefered for interesting control results.»

20. Would you have liked more traditional teaching in the course? If yes, on which topic?

- no, all projects are different, and i think the meaning of this course is to use the knowledge already acquired. »

21. Is there anything special we should change in the course, add or remove?

- Automation projects for those who want it»
- Reduce the importance of the reports, having less reports would be an opportunity to work more on the subject.»
- see above comments. Should be said that i worked on a project i suggested, and hence non of the things i suggest was there, no finished HW. That is fine if the goal is to do a complete project, but then more time is required. »

- I whould never have chosen this course if I knew how it whould turn out»
- The guidance from the supervisor was not good. Asking for guidance did not give anything since the supervisor knew less than the students about the practical problems. Since the equipment the project was focused around was unfinished and badly documented to much focus was put into practical problems and not more interesting problems like control theory and signal processing etc.»
- Good course, large workload, a lot of fun!»
