- The in-house material is poorly written. It contains unusual notation, as an example "superset" is sometimes used for implication, union is sometimes used for concatenation.. Other sites found through Google were often more useful. Some previous book was eventually published on the course page, and this book was great. A translation of this took to English would have much more useful than the current material.» (Small extent)

- Good, but one has to wonder, what"s up with the attitude? It felt like many (valid) questions were looked down upon and answered in a sarcastic manner. This discourages people from asking questions.» (Rather good)

- two deadlines per week means a lot of work, but I think it"s good since it means you"re forced to think about the course constantly -- which means better learning, for me at least» (High)
- I guess it was kind of high, but the work was not terribly difficult with my background (having taken the types for programs and proofs course, for example). Although, if I had done all the exercises the workload would have been too high, I think. It"s a lot compared with other courses.» (High)
- Extremely dependant on the amount of prior knowledge you have about lambda-calculus, functional programs etc. For me it was almost all new.» (Too high)
- One day to complete exercises was not nearly enough.» (Too high)

- Add more lectures. Not a single thing about this course was easy, and with this few lectures it was up to me to try and understand the course literature.»

- Grading. 100p for 3 while the final written exam was 140p. HAVING to do well on assignments/exercises is a bad system in my opinion.»
