- Maybe too many points for one work task that is being done in a group of people. This means that 20% of the final individual grade depends on a collaborative work in a group of people» (Some value)
- The case for seminar 3 could have been different. We just had have a make-or-buy strategy case for the case competition so it was kind of dull to repeat the same type of task. It also was strange to present that case 2 days before the exam.» (Some value)
- I liked the idea of the seminars but the first one was very diffuse and the questions were very open so I didn"t get anything out of it. for the third seminar se above. » (Good value)
- The seminars were very good. However, I think that there should have been more coodination between the Purchasing course and the SCM course. The case in the purchasing was more or less the same thing as the case competition. It should have been enough to write a report for the case competition. » (Good value)

- Seminar 1 was not that worthwhile. HC-seminar should be combined with the SCM-seminar. Since we put a lot of effort on the case, we should get more feedback than only a grade, and we would like to know what you are looking at when you grade the report before we hand in the report... The case completion and the case in this course were very much the same....» (Good value)

- Very interesting lectures, however alot of reasonings very seldom ended up in a clear conclusion to draw. This would have been a great help for us students.» (Some extent)
- Sometimes it was hard to grasp what Arni meant and found important. If the class don"t answers pleas, go on and answer the question yourself. The lectures might be the wrong forum for discussions. If you want more of a discussion it might be good to have seminars of the type we had in the SCM-course.» (Some extent)

I love that Arni wants more class participation but many of us had a hard time to prepare for the classes due to allot of other stuff in the two other courses. »
- That us students were not active during lectures were totally our fault. Everyone are this quiet at all classes »
- We had too much to do so it was hard to prepare for the lectures in advance in order to participate in discussions.»
- Great when there is cooperation with companies and. »
- Rather poor can be a result of lack of time for preparation.»
- We have two seminars very close and similar with the host company in the 2 courses (purchasing and SCM)»
- Arni is a very good lecturer.»
- The Accenture case was scheduled very late and we didn"t have enough time or energy to do it as good as we wanted to. Especially since we already had done a case in the SCM course. »
- Lecturs might be the wrong forum for discussions, seminars is better for this. »
- Seminar 3 was interesting but it was embarrassing to present something for accenture/skanska that you could have done so much better if there was time for it. Less quantity and more quality, please. Good incentitive to try to discuss during the lectures but people are not used to do that. During the bachelor that is very uncommon, at least in Sweden. I do not know how that can be encouraged. »

However, the term paper course lowered the possibility of really learning from the purchasing course. The term paper course had poor communication, seemingly meaningless deliverables and bad guidance from Benedikte Borgström.» (Adequate)

- The "layout" of the course that really got the students attention and making us putting a lot of effort into it»
- Most things were very good and the professors put a lot of effort into the course. I learned a lot and it"s one of the best courses I have had at Chalmers.»

17. What should definitely be changed to next year?- The workload as a whole was very high during the period with many different group assignments and deadlines. It did the overall quality low and it was frustrating that not have the time to work as much as you wanted (and needed) on the different assignments. Specially the last seminar was affected by this. So close to the exam most people just wanted to focus on studying the course.
The textbook Supply Network Strategies was unnecessary since there was a lack of time for studying it.»

- The Accenture case was interesting, but I and many of my class mates felt that we had too little time in order to be able to make a good case report. In general I think the workload was too high. I am an ambitious student and I"m used to study a lot, but it was simply too much. I felt stressed throughout the reading period. I think that it"s enough with van Weele"s book. If there will be a case next year as well, I think that it should be handed out earlier and there should be more coordination between the courses so that all the deadlines are not on the same day/in the same week.»
- The connection with the term paper course. We present each thing in both the term paper course and the other courses including the Purchasing one. Everything is presented twice which is both boring and unneccessary. It takes focus from learning other things by having to redo things over and over.»
- Coordination with other courses!! Both so that there will be time for preparation and so that presentations in different courses are more coordinated because we hade like three presentations about the same thing..

- Maybe try to group the 2 host company seminars in Purchasing and SCM.»

- The course assessment should be done direct after the exam and I do not think that there have been any course valuation meetings in this course.
Arni should answer the questions himself in no one wants to answer during the lectures.
