- I cannot see how anyone can spend the 20 hours/week (or 25 hours/ week that the 7.5 ECTS corresponds to) with the limited material the course go through. The course should been expanded with at least 50-100% material to be that comprehensive that it should be. I have problems to see why courses on master levels must be more comfortable then during the bachelor. » (At most 15 hours/week)

- I was a bit disappointed by the exam, which was quite long. Asking us to draw the composite curve was a waste of time knowing that that kind of thing is easily done by a computer.» (To some extent)

- The lectures are totally useless, the teaching has to be mixed with problem solving if it is to give us students anything to connect the knowledge to. Someone talking about a heat pump or other device for 4hours straight is just not very stimulating. Most of us has not seen one in real life and what is actually useful for us is to learn how to calculate with it to understand the benefits of it.» (Some extent)

- Professor Thore Berntsson had the best lectures in my opinion. Simon Harvey"s can be a bit tedious or slow.» (Moderate)

- The tour was not prepared and bad english speaking guide. The calculations was ok but there is no reason to go to renova if the tour has so bad quality. Could do the calculations at school instead.» (Good but could be improved)
- The Renova representant could have been better i english and when he helped us during the lab exercises he lead us into wrong directions which resulted in that we had to finish the exercise at home. » (Good but could be improved)
- The calculations asked enabled us to really apply our knowledge with real industrial figures, and to learn how to decipher control screens. That was really good. However, the visit was not really interesting: the guide was not speaking English very well and the visit itself did not have a real structure. It was more like: here is this, here is that, and some things made me even more confused than after reading the handouts about the plant.» (Good but could be improved)

- They were very helpful to get some practice for concepts learned in lectures. In some cases I would say, that the projects were a bit too easy. It was easy to follow the instructions step by step. My suggestion is to leave some room for thinking and searching the course material when composing the instructions. » (Good)

- They take way to much time!!!!! 7 exercise projects and no credits for them is unreasonable when they take as much time as they did. We easily spent 10-15hours a week on the last ones.» (Moderate)
- In my case the exercises were not all that great. It would have been great if the different tutors had discussed what to say to their respective group beforehand. In reality I had the misfortune to end up in a group were we only go little initial help. What I"v see from other groups was that they got way more help in the beginning of each exercise... » (Poor)

The regular assignments enabled us to go deeper into the different technologies before the revisions for the exam, with the opportunity to ask questions more easily. Moreover, doing them in groups of 2 is really beneficial, especially if the 2 students had a similar understanding of the lectures. I really liked this course.» (Excellent)
