- The compendium is not very good. Much of the material is outdated. The non-consecutive page-numbering makes is clumpsy to handle. The language doesn"t run very smooth and sometimes lacks clarity (all except for the part on "Hydrothermal Coordination"). In other words, the compendium should be re-written or exchanged to reach a satisfactory university level of both clarity and linguistic style.» (Small extent)

- This part could bee changed to next year. The hard part with this project was to understand the syntax of gams and not how to solve the different problems. One idea would to provide the code and let the students test differents system and looking for optimum. » (Small extent)
- I"ve learned GAMS to some extent, but it has not considerable helped me to learn the topics included in the course. However, GAMS has introduced optimization programming tools to me, and if GAMS is actually used in the industry it may be worth to keep this project.» (Some extent)

- Sometimes it felt like the tutorial teacher was bothered by the questions. He was also sometimes unable to answer the question and admit that he had done a mistake on the board. » (Rather good)

- The combinations of a poor compendium and powerpoints in class is not ultimate. Powerpoints in general have a tendency to make the listeners passive, especially when you know that the slides are handed out in paper format (but please note that it is no alternative NOT to hand out the slides in paper format!). Ideally, in this course I would have liked to see good teaching on the blackboard combined with a good and relevant text book. The exercises are good to keep to help clarify concepts from the lectures.» (Adequate)

- An interesting course! Maybe to much power point. More real examples and news from "the real world " would be nice!»
