- The way I read them it seem resonable, but the way Andreas reads them it feels a bit too much» (Yes, the goals seem reasonable)

- Not enough focus was laid on what the examination questions asked for. » (To some extent)
- The exam required good understanding of the concepts covered. However, because of the large amount of information that had to be absorbed before the exam, it was very hard to achieve a solid knowledge and also have a clear mind during the exam. » (To some extent)
- The exam did not reflect the learning outcomes or the focus from the lectures of the course. For example there were five different data sheets attach to the exam. I think this is an important part to learn during the master program, but if we are suppose to know how to do it we need to spend more time on this part in the course. Also there were many unclear question on the exam! As well as very many questions which makes it very stressful. » (To some extent)

- Worthless powerpoints since there are no commments, just graphs. Whenever Andreas wrote a formula on the blackboard he never wrote the context of the formula. » (Some extent)
- For the Buck and Boost converters I think Andreas did a very good job. This we really understood. But then the lectures become very stressful with many converters at same time, inverters and rectifiers...He also many time said that Christian will explain things more on the demos, but he never did...that left us students with lots of questions... » (Some extent)

- The lecturer was always well-prepared and understandable. He combined slide presentations and board-writing in a fine balance. The demonstration sessions were unfortunately not equally helpful, partly because of the tutor"s lack of experience.» (Large extent)

- Lectures was very helpful but tutorials did not help much because the things that came up on tutorials was copy/paste from solutions uploaded at webpage. Then it"s better for me to do the tutorials on your own at home, when I go on tutorials I expect the tutor to explain more or in other ways then it"s said on the solutions.» (Great extent)

- The lecture slides were very helpful, even though they would have been even more useful without the frequent last minute changes and updates to them afterwards.» (Large extent)

- The P-spice assignments could be put on the homepage a little bit earlier.» (Rather badly)
- It was not good that the course book was not available for purchase until one week after the beginning of the study period.» (Rather well)
- It would have been helpful to put up the material for tutorial exercises and lectures beforehand, but the important thing is that everything you needed eventually was on the course homepage.» (Very well)

- the exercises were only reading from handouts. Low entusiasm and personal joy about having these classes from the assistent.» (Rather poor)
- the self-study times were good when there is teachers at Fredrik Lamm and you could go there with what ever in the cousre you got stuck with. Though, when it was exam-week, there were nobody to answer our quetions» (Rather good)
- they were good, but often the answers were not so good. E.g. I got "I don"t know, i"ve just copied from the book" as answer or "that is a good question and it can be a good exercise for you to find the answer"» (Rather good)

- when i saw the exam I realized that the load should be harder and different» (Too low)
- This was mainly due to the Pspice-assignments but I found them to be really good for the forced learning process.» (High)
- The P-spice assignments took a lot of time, time that had been better spent if we had been sitting and doing exercises instead.» (Too high)
- To many P-spice assigments, and to much preparation for them. Even though I studied alot the hole period through I almost never had the time to start with tasks from the book, as there were always some preparations for a lab that had to be done. Also, be clearer on to what extent the preparations need to be done, as some of us spent alot of time on them, drawing nice graphs etc, while others just doodled some things (would never have done it like that if I knew I didnt really have too). » (Too high)

- The course content is very Interesting, but both the lecturer and the exercise assistant were not often unprepared.» (Fair)
- More on the board exercises done by the teacher instead of all theese power point slides.» (Adequate)
- I didn´,t feel that I learned very much from the PSpice exercises, even if I have now suggestion of what should be instead. The learning outcome was perhaps due to the preparations and to some extent from learning how to use the computer program. By the way I don´,t understand wy we have to use a problematic demo version of PSpice.» (Good)
- Especially the very clear and elaborate solutions to demonstrations and exams are very good.» (Good)
- The course material was fine, teaching should have been better, the load could be distributed more evenly between topics.» (Good)

- Pspice, but the questions can be more hintful on what we should look at on the graphs. But the tutors at pspice was very good and explained well.»

- 1. Examination setting should be fair in relation to what is taught in class 2. Tutors for tutorials should prepare before going to class and should competent to the course.»

15. What should definitely be changed to next year?

- An exam with reasonable questions. This year was a worthless exam. »
- -The amount of converters covered could be decreased a little for the sake of deeper understanding. -The demonstration sessions should offer more than copying notes to the board. »
- The PSpice lab-questions, they should be more clearly. The exam should reflect the imortant part of the course. There sould be some better sum up in the end of the course, like the one in high voltage course.»
- Make spelling corrections in all tutorials (handouts)»
- To look over the content in the P-Spice lectures or the time given. The assignments was to extensive for the time given to finish them. To finish them in two hours one had to really rush thru them without make any conclutions or think about the exercise. I think a reduction of the questions and concentrate on a specific part at the P-spice exercise would be great, or double the time of these lectures so you actually learn something from them.»
- The guy holding the tutorials (Dubar). Have never seen anyone so detached to the task. He did not give any extra info, tips, trix, help, answer to questions etc. All he did was mumbling from his papers (that were also available online). Waste of time! And im sorry to say, because good tutorials are the key to success in this course I think. »

- The course is very interesting and useful and I feel lucky I had the chance to attend it. The trial exam and the Pspice assignments kept the studying pace very high and this is desirable to some extent.»
