- I dont know if such a broad course should have just 10 question. Maybe it would be better to leave some of the areas just for the assignment and then have maybe a smaller area at the exam. Then it would be possible to get some deep-knowledge on this area.» (To some extent)

- However, information on what should be in the report was really poor. People got different instructions depending on what "teacher" they had, as they (the teachers) seemed to have different expectations on how extensive the project should be. They were to the point and most of the spoke really good english and were easy to understand. It was, however, very annoying that some of the lectures had to be canceled simply because people didn"t show up to teach.» (Great extent)

- Very interesting to do a real-life possible project.» (Good)
- I missed one of the field trips, which I told Johan Funehag the first lecture we had (which was maybe 2 weeks before teh actual field trip). I had to walk the entire stretch with another girl in the class. We had to go by ourselves with material that did not really help, so we went too far and did not really know where to look for the different specific things given in the papers. So that trip did not give us so much learning and we had to skip another lecture to go there. Nothing was prepared when we were to go, so just because WE mentioned that maybe we should have a compass, Johan Funehag realised that we should have a MUK and a shovel and a compass. So maybe 30-40min just passed by because we were searching for these things. And then we had a deadline to be back a certain time so it was quite stressful. Then, afterwards, we find out that there was another person in the class that missed that field trip, but he didn"t have to do anything else than to talk to his group and let them explain what they had experienced. How come we were treated differently? I think it is unacceptable that it should be mandatory for some students and some students can skip it. » (Good)

16. What should definitely be changed to next year?- Better administration so that the lectures won"t be canceled. It it very bad when two lectures are canceled and on is only half-time because of that the lecturer didn"t know the right day.
The study trip to SP was mostly boring and didn"t feel adequate.
Give the information for the course project when the project starts and not when it is only a weak left like it was this time.

- I had never heard about heat pumps before I moved to Sweden and I have to admit that I think they are very interesting but in this one lecture that covered them I didn"t really understand how they work. After spending time reading the course literature I"m still not sure I"ve got the complete idea. Since LOE did his doctorial on the subject and clearly knows a whole lot about it, I think that should maybe be improved till next year. »

- Loe should stop over-using the word "upon". He uses it way too much and it is really distracting. You will probably not take this critique seriously, but I think it actually is really annoying and it disturbed my learning. »

- The course project should preferably connect to the exam more since it was continous throughout the course and took the most time. »
17. Additional comments- MAKE TWO COURSES, WHICH COULD GIVE MORE "DEEP-KNOWLEDGE"...»
- The teachers and the assistants did a good job in this course. I think the course was very well organized, the study material interesting and all communication with the assistance smooth and easy.»
- I would"ve liked to have more exercises together in class going through how to calculate the strike and dip of sedimentary rock types from a topographical map. This was rather difficult to understand. It would"ve been nice to have sort of a "general way of thinking" when approahing an exercise of this type.»
