- If you"re from the bachelor of mechanics from chalmers with including "Tillverkningsteknik" then this course was a bit to much repetition on certain topics.» (The course started on a too low level)

- I personally think that the examination placed too much emphasis on the parts of the reading instructions that were to be considered of medium importance. Quite frustrating as I felt that I knew the course content better than I had the chance to prove at the examination. » (To some extent)
- But I AM SO ANGRY at how some of the questions where asked. You could have been more describing of what you wanted me to write about. and especially what the first picture described. I asked several times over the first picture when I did not understand how it was constructed or what it described (from any angle, and which pictures belonged together), the only answer I got from you Gustav was that it had to do with time, I still did not understand the picture but you could not say more you said. I misunderstood the entire assignment! I have subsequently discussed with another student who asked you several times (read nagged until he / she got an answer he / she understood)and then realized the task! No, oh what this makes me angry! Gustav, you could have just said it was like scenes from a movie, it would have been to explain the issue without revealing the answer!» (To some extent)

- Gustav should maybe not "talk himself down" and say things "this is not so very interesting...". It is much better if the lecturer shows that he/she likes the subject. » (Some extent)
- They were okey. A good opportunity to ask questions and get dne basic knowledge.» (Some extent)

- This may not be true for all students, but I had to search for people to write lab reports with due to coming from minor master program and entering the class after a free year. It has not been a major problem, but a proposal is to make it mandatory to write the lab report with the ones you made the lab with. » (Rather well)

- I think I did well but didn"t study much. Too small step from the mandatory bachelor course in Manuf on M.» (Low)
- The labs were very well balanced in the aspect of workload, but it was much to learn before the exam about details and such. I know we were supposed to have "general understanding" but in order to explain something in general you need to know the details.» (Adequate)

13. Laboratory work: To what extent was the labs been of help in yor learning?

- Good to see them in reality since I have not had much experience of these manufacturing methods before. » (To some extent)
- NOT the turning lab! Again, if you read the "Tillverkningsteknik M" it is a little too much repetition.» (To some extent)
- lubrication lab wasn"t that good metal forming lab was very good» (To quite large extent)

- We have done similair tasks in other courses. Though that one in punching deepend the understanding in that subject. » (Somewhat meaningful)

15. "Separate" lecturers - To what extent where these lectures of help in your learning?

There were som separate lectures given by Daniel Wiklund on forming, N. Stenbacka on joining and J Berglund on Surfaces. Give comment if you want to be specific.

- I did not participate at those lectures. I was on a half lecture held by a man from SWEREA. His slides were interesting to read, but his retoric skills were not as good, he could not engage me in his lecture. » (Small extent)
- I do not remember Daniel"s lecture, so it was may be fine. However, I remember that I did not get anything out of the lesson that Nils had, so many slides and so much non-technical facts. It was just frustrerand. The third lecture, I remember as slow and uninspiring, unfortunately. But I might confuse it with the first one.» (Small extent)
- Joining lecture was interesting and contained useful information. Surface lecture was very boring, had no sustainable learning effect.» (Some extent)

- Won´,t recommend to anyone!» (Poor)
- It"s great learning goals and objectives. But I may not have felt so so challenged, because I knew some of the content already.» (Fair)

- As a product developer this was a great course and at the right level. Interesting to learn about the different manufacturing processes. I would not want to change the information content of this course. » (Excellent)

17. What should definitely be preserved to next year?

- References to real industry (e.g. mentioning what companies that are using the processes that are being discussed in the lecture) is always interesting, maybe more of a lecturing philosophy/type, still worth mentioning. The lab on deep drawing was also very hands-on and good.»

19. Additional comments

- The Exam paper could have been bit easier. Though I had read the Book morethan two times, It was hard to think and Qualitatively reason out the answers. I meant some questions atleast could have been pretty straight-forward. But I feel that, the Knowledge which I had gained from this Course is very High and I hope I will be more stronger when I start Working:).»
