- I think it was a good and interresting course. But I wouldn"t recommend it if you have another demanding course at the same time because of the high work load. » (Maybe)
- This course and those seminars and group work are more focusing on the material handling inside a manufacturing factory thus it require factory working experience in some extend as a background knowledge which is not that easy to understand for those without such an experience. » (Maybe)

- The site visit at Volvo did not impress me. I would have liked to have more information before we entered the production of what we should measure and how the flow looked like. I dont think Christian was a good guide.»

- i liked all the topics because of the relation to the case, group work is good»
- The factory visit to Volvo plant was great, however, it was a bit too short. »
24. Literature seminars: What was good, what needs improvements and what would you suggest?- I like that you needed to make one question for each seminar. That made us possible to discuss something you hadn´,t thought of and not just the seminar questions. »
- Overall the seminars where very helpful for learning, but sometimes the questions didnt really relate to the material. Also make sure that the connecting lectures are given before the hand in for the seminars»
- Literature seminar 3 was good.»
- Good questions but the seminars themself was not that good»
- I enjoyed them. Some of the questions were not so good, like the one when we should evaluate the article. But I think that during the seminars we had good discussions.»
- The seminars was very good and should absolutely be kept until next year. »
- it was good but questions were bit tricky and I was not sure what exactly the professor expected out of the question sometimes»

25. Group assignments: What was good, what needs improvements and what would you suggest?- It sometimes felt like there were to many assumotions to be made, and that a wrong assumption could mean alot of extra work that wasn´,t really needed.»

- There should be mandatory tutoring to better give the students an idea of whether they"re on right track or not and also to explain the level of detail that is required. Today this was quite unclear.»
- I would like to integrate this more into the seminars somehow. »
- The cases took a lot of time and it was a little hard sometimes to understand what was expected to do. Maybe it could have been better to present all the three cases at once even though it may look a little overwhelming I think it could have helped a little to know what is expected in the next assignment from the beginning. »
- groups with 4 will be ideal anything more than that is not productive»
- The group assignment requires industrial background as working in a factory. It was hard for those without such experience to understand the assignment.»
26. What should be changed concerning the course?- for me it fair enough»
- the material flow mapping wasn´,t really that deep. Felt like it was just thrown up on paper and I didn´,t get as much out of it as I thought I should. Before the exam I realized I wasn´,t really clear of the difference from VSM and MFM (I know one deals with the value adding activities and the other with the material flow but other than that..). Maybe could be more deeper but then it might be to much workload.. »
- Reduce the workload somewhat, maybe have one less seminar or one task less for the group assignments
Further study of flows in other nodes than just production and production warehouses would be interessting

- The visits at the factories should be extended - now it felt like they were rushed.»
- Less talk about the company during guest lectures. (toyota was really bad)»
- Schedules can be made such a way that no / minimum changes occur during the course time. And, it should be made such a way that literature seminars hand ins and case study hand ins do not overlap each other.»

27. Comments and other remarks- I could grab somehting I can not get it from other courses. so keep it up!»
- Really good course, thought it was more fun to read for the exam than necessary.»
- Promises should not be made regarding individual examination dates which are later broken for unexplained reasons. This is very disrespectful.»
- Probably faster response from Course Examiner for the mails and other helps sent / requested by the students.»
- The workload was very high when both seminars and cases. Those took a lot of time and effort to read, analyse and formulate the seminars and at the same time create several case-reports. When having such a high workload I didn"t get time to learn, I only had time to only do what it takes, with a minimal effort, to pass every assignment. Therefore both lectures and the course book didn"t contribute to my learning except for the compulsory parts in the book that had to be read for the seminars. I hadn"t got time to read them and repeat reading the lectures. It had been ok if it just had been this course but when having another course aswell it became to much. »
- I would recommend to have fewer assignments and hand-ins because they take up to much time. This also lowers the quality of the work as you don"t get any time to reflect on the problem or look it up in the litterature, which is actually also stated in the course litterature. We only used common sense for our case assignments for instance, never actually looked up anything in the books. »
